> 24 hourIf you havent installed these before, watch the video listed in the instructions. Its helpful. Ill point out a mistake I made to help others avoid the same fate. Unless youre living alone, add more distance to whatever you feel the door swing should be. Others like your spouse or kids might slam the door open causing the door you thought you fixed to still hit. Basically, test the door after you install the restraint by slamming hit open. If nothing hits, youre good. If the door hits, start over. I recommend these restraints and will buy more.

> 24 hourWhat a pleasure it is to use well made products. I just finished assembling some cabinets made in another country. Part of the order was damaged and the replacements were also chipped and broken. So I enjoyed working with these cables. Yes, it looks like a simple thing to make. But these are just perfect. And the package included an extra screw. What more could youd ask for!

> 24 hourI bought a 5 pack of these eyelet cables. Its nice to see a well made USA product. They are well finished and look sturdy. My hinges on my BMW plastic saddlebags were bent and broken. I drilled out the rivets and used these cables as stops to keep the outside lid from swinging open too far. I drilled and tapped a 10-28 hole in the aluminum frames and secured the cables with machine screws. This worked great! I put a 12 cable on either side of the lid to restrain the opening and keep from dumping all my gear on the ground.

> 24 hourI wish I’d known about these YEARS AGO! I just painted the kitchen cabinets and had to repair a couple that had been hitting the door pulls next door to them (cracked the joints and then some). So I went looking for a solution to prevent this from happening again. Bought these restraints, watched their YouTube install video (THANK YOU!) and installed in no time. I’m back for more because we have similar issues in the laundry room. Wish I could give this product 10 stars!

> 24 hourI love that these are made in the USA! Not many things are anymore. That said, theyre also very well made (strong) with slightly offset ends to make closing the wire not bunch up when the cabinet doors theyre attached to close, Im guessing. I used both on medicine cabinets that kept hitting the wall. Drilling the initial pilot hole into the glass door was tricky due to glass placement. I was afraid I was going to break the glass that I was trying to protect. but after that personal problem was handled, installation was a breeze.

> 24 hourI originally bought one package of these restraints to use on some of the cabinet doors in our motorhome because the motorhome manufacturer‘s restraints were very expensive. As it turns out, these are superior quality. As a result, I bought more through a second order and have been installing them on the many cabinet doors that have the potential interference when fully open. If I had to make one suggestion, it might be to offer a couple of lengths. This would be helpful installing on smaller doors. Great product and company.

> 24 hourI installed this on my overlay cabinets because the doors were swinging out and hitting adjacent walls. Very easy to install and very effective. I have rollout trays so I couldn’t use the hinge constraints that reduce the opening angle to below 90 degrees. This product was perfect for my needs

> 24 hourWhoever remodeled the kitchen before we bought our house didnt account for the fact that when one of the cabinet doors opened, the knob would hit the edge of the wall, which ended up damaging the drywall and exposing the corner bead. I bought this and installed it, patched & painted the drywall and forgot about it. I realized that sometimes it is a real testament to how well something works when you forget all about having installed it (it means it is working)!

> 24 hourThese braided cable cabinet door restraints are nicely made (in the USA). Theyre highly effective in restraining inadvertent excessive cabinet door swings that can cause damage to adjacent plaster walls. Installation instructions are clear. And when the instructions are followed, the cables disappear from view when the cabinet door is closed. Have used a number of these around the house.
