Im so glad I didnt try to mess with one of the hinge type of door restraints. They looked difficult to install and there were many complaints that they didnt work whereas this type of restraint was very easy to attach and works perfectly. I appreciate the extra screw provided in case it was needed. The instruction sheet was clear but it contained a link and a suggestion to watch a video which I did. There was a good tip regarding how tight to screw in one of the screws. One needs to be loose and the other one needs to be tight so I recommend watching the video. Very happy to have my cabinet door banging into the wall problem solved so easily!

Since remodeling my kitchen I had several cabinet doors that opened into walls, the open dishwasher, and the side of the refrigerator. This simple device took care of all problems. I was able to remove all the silicone bumpers that I had on the walls, etc. This is a much smarter answer to this common problem.

They cost a bit more than brands manufactured out of country but we felt good at supporting jobs in America and a company who gives a portion of all proceeds to veterans. Wanted to keep kitchen cabinet doors from hitting. These were very easy to install myself, they do involve drilling 1/8 holes and 2 screws for each cable. I found the directions clearly written and easy to follow. They work very well , we like them and ordered additional sets .

I always hated that we had corner cabinet doors that slammed against another door because their was no way to restrict them. After taking a look at the many different plastic ones, I decided to try these which are all metal, made in America, and reasonably priced. It took me 8 minutes to install the first one on one cabinet door. Once I knew how easy it was, it took only 3 minutes each on the next four doors. The directions were excellent and the finished product did exactly what I wanted. The braided stainless steel cord is small, but very strong. I love quality products and will be ordering 5 more for the rest of my corner cabinet doors. You can’t go wrong.

We had some cabinet doors that were opening too far and banging into other cabinets/the wall/dishwasher/etc. These turned out to be a great solution for them. Installation was easy - less than 5 minutes per door. Just be sure to mark your drill bit so you dont drill all the way through your door. I was a little worried that these would be a little ugly, but we never notice them anymore. I installed them on the tops of the upper cabinets as the instructions said. But for the lower cabinets, I installed them at the bottoms so that they wouldnt interfere with getting things in and out of the cabinets.

I needed a safety chain to prevent my cabinet door from opening into the fan in our kitchen. Somehow, I found this item. It is perfect! Five minutes to gather tools, drill two holes, and install two screws. While I would have figured out what to do without the instructions, I actually read them and followed them, and the install was perfect. I would highly recommend this product.
