> 3 dayThis product exceeded my expectations. I needed a restraint on two medicine cabinet doors so the metal door pulls would not hit my mirrors. I was looking for some sort of chain system, but found these instead. Great idea to have SS wire encased in vinyl wrapping. Very easy to install. Directions were good. I would recommend that the instruction say After locking the first screw and wire eyelet to the door, bend the eyelet back towards you by about 10 degrees. That way the wire rope comes towards you upon closing the door instead of away from you and bind on the cabinet opening alittle. Not a big deal, just helpful for me.

> 3 dayIll complain about the price since I need something to complain about. But in reality these are by far the best ones I have found. We are a remodeler and install 50-100 kitchens / bathrooms a year. Sometimes you need to restrict the doors more or less than the available 86° clips from the manufacturer. Thats where these come in. You need a tiny bit of common sense to put them in so that they dont get caught in the door or whatnot, but Id hope you are handy enough to do so given that you are working on cabinetry.

> 3 dayI have a Liebherr French door fridge and the doors are able to hit my counter and a cabinet (they open to 145 degrees). I didnt want to risk damage to the counter or stainless door skin. The fridge manufacturer does not make a door restrictor for this model. You would think they would have thought about this for a $6K fridge. This product worked perfectly. I left the screws a tad loose without much pressure on the lugs which allows the lugs to rotate around when the door opens and closes as the wire angle charges. The wires tuck up perfectly on top and unseen and very discrete and even match the overall stainless look of the fridge. THANKYOU !!!!

> 3 dayWhoever remodeled the kitchen before we bought our house didnt account for the fact that when one of the cabinet doors opened, the knob would hit the edge of the wall, which ended up damaging the drywall and exposing the corner bead. I bought this and installed it, patched & painted the drywall and forgot about it. I realized that sometimes it is a real testament to how well something works when you forget all about having installed it (it means it is working)!

01-04-2025My wife bought an expensive console for the TV/AV equipment and to store DVDs, games etc. It has a center compartment designed for the PS4 (etc.) but its door swings down and is supported only by its hinges. I could see that kids would drop the door with force and break the hinges out of the oak frame. I placed one of these on each side of the door to inhibit stress on the hinges, and it works perfectly. Thanks! Saved a nice piece of furniture from damage.

> 3 dayI purchased these for my home cabinets as I experienced a similar product on my motorhome. They were exactly what I was looking for and do a great job of controlling how far a cabinet is opened to avoid damaging either the door or the opposing wall.

> 3 dayThese worked very nicely to keep my cabinet door from hitting my dishwasher. I only took a star off because of the price. $11 is way too much for 2 wires. I had some more cabinets I wanted to use them on, so I went to Home Depot and bought like 6 feet of the same kind of stranded metal wire and a 10 pack of little crimpable metal pieces that are made for this type of wire. You just make a loop at the end of the wire and crimp it on with a pair of piars and you have essentially the same thing. Was only around 4 or 5 bucks for that at home Depot and I have enough to make 5 of them. Would even have enough wire left over to make more if I bought another package of the crimp pieces.
