Whoever remodeled the kitchen before we bought our house didnt account for the fact that when one of the cabinet doors opened, the knob would hit the edge of the wall, which ended up damaging the drywall and exposing the corner bead. I bought this and installed it, patched & painted the drywall and forgot about it. I realized that sometimes it is a real testament to how well something works when you forget all about having installed it (it means it is working)!

Cabinet door stops like this are very hard to find! I have to say, they’re holding up extremely well in the busiest cabinet in our kitchen. This is a well built American product. I highly recommend purchasing.

Upon completion of a kitchen remodel we found the cabinetry doors would open beyond 90 and impact the wall. This was concerning as we have put a lot of time and money into the remodel. We did not want to put bumper pads on the nice newly finished walls nor liked what it would look like. Found these and ordered. Was able to readily install on the cabinets with ease following directions - and after watching video. Simple and highly effective! The materials are very nice and do not hamper the door soft close at all. Excellent craftmanship! Our cabinet maker who sees this issue often is now buying as an option for his other clients.

Ill complain about the price since I need something to complain about. But in reality these are by far the best ones I have found. We are a remodeler and install 50-100 kitchens / bathrooms a year. Sometimes you need to restrict the doors more or less than the available 86° clips from the manufacturer. Thats where these come in. You need a tiny bit of common sense to put them in so that they dont get caught in the door or whatnot, but Id hope you are handy enough to do so given that you are working on cabinetry.

We recently remodeled a bathroom and added a linen cabinet. The handle on the cabinet door hits the adjoining wall when the door is opened fully, and we knew we would soon have a hole in our newly painted wall if we didnt do something about it. So I started searching on Amazon and decided to try these door restraints. The 2-pack was perfect because there is one large door and a smaller top door. We attached the restraint to the inside of each door and to the frame of the cabinet. It works perfectly so far. The chains do not interfere with the function of the cabinet and they are very inconspicuous.

I needed something to keep the medicine cabinet door from opening too far and banging into the glass cover of the light. The bathroom is cramped so I was stuck with the design. I was fortunate that the length fit my needs. It is well built and easily withstands the surprise abrupt tug that occurs when someone opens the cabinet door. Without the restraint I probably would be going on my fifth replacement of the bathroom light. Maybe some day this will be available in various sizes. I happen to be lucky that the size that is offered was what I needed.

We realized after installation of our new kitchen that doors of my kitchen cabinets hit the range hood when fully opened. These doors would have been damaged overtime. This was a big problem, since every hindge with controlled degree of opening was $30+ and we could not even find them anywhere. The problem was solved in minutes and on a dime with these cords. I worried that they could look hillbilly, but they look perfect even in my fancy kitchen. I highly recommend this product.

This product lasted 5 years and then just broke apart at one end connector. The second one in the package is still working fine.

Just had kitchen redone and unfortunately cabinet doors would open and hit fridge etc. Saw this on line and since it got great reviews, gave it a shot. Works wonderfully well. Also appears easy to install, but in the interest of full disclosure, I did have a handyman do it. Took him no time at all. It’s sturdy, unobtrusive, and it just plain works. Great product and great solution.
