Whoever remodeled the kitchen before we bought our house didnt account for the fact that when one of the cabinet doors opened, the knob would hit the edge of the wall, which ended up damaging the drywall and exposing the corner bead. I bought this and installed it, patched & painted the drywall and forgot about it. I realized that sometimes it is a real testament to how well something works when you forget all about having installed it (it means it is working)!

It does exactly what it is supposed to do, just make sure to give the wire the right orientation so it doesn’t block the cabinet door when it closes

I heard about this product from a contractor. It some time to find an American made product and it exceeded my expectations. Stay away from the chinese garbage. Helpful written and video instructions.

I wasn’t sure these would keep my kitchen cabinet doors from banging into walls, appliances, and each other so I ordered a couple. They work very well. Some reviews complain about the screws holding but if you use a small, shallow pilot hole they work fine. Also, if you plan to install a lot of them, as I did, you can save time by making cardboard templates to quickly locate and mark the door location and case location.

We were very pleased w/ our stainless steel cabinet door restraint system from 402 Brand. They arrived on time with both paper and online instructions for installations. They cost a bit more than brands manufactured out of country but we felt good at supporting jobs in America and a company who gives a portion of all proceeds to veterans. By using this product we were able to save the expense and effort involved in replacing or upgrading our existing hinges. Another win!

I bought a 5 pack of these eyelet cables. Its nice to see a well made USA product. They are well finished and look sturdy. My hinges on my BMW plastic saddlebags were bent and broken. I drilled out the rivets and used these cables as stops to keep the outside lid from swinging open too far. I drilled and tapped a 10-28 hole in the aluminum frames and secured the cables with machine screws. This worked great! I put a 12 cable on either side of the lid to restrain the opening and keep from dumping all my gear on the ground.

Great directions, easy to install, and they solved the problem of my bumping cabinet doors!
