I got this because I was at my wits end looking for something to prevent my freestanding Ikea Pax closet doors from hitting my fans moving blades. I tried buying very expensive built in hinge stoppers but unfortunately it turned out that the hinges were the wrong model for the stopper which is a very precisely made piece of plastic. I also tried looking for new hinges but couldnt find ones that would directly replace the Komplement ones that are made for the Pax, without having to router new holes etc. I honestly should have just bought this product in the first place... it took less than 10min to install and while it is more visible than hinge stoppers, its not particularly ugly and is pretty nondescript. I plan to use the second piece on a kitchen cabinet door that hits a wall. Very pleased with my purchase!

What a pleasure it is to use well made products. I just finished assembling some cabinets made in another country. Part of the order was damaged and the replacements were also chipped and broken. So I enjoyed working with these cables. Yes, it looks like a simple thing to make. But these are just perfect. And the package included an extra screw. What more could youd ask for!

I wasn’t sure these would keep my kitchen cabinet doors from banging into walls, appliances, and each other so I ordered a couple. They work very well. Some reviews complain about the screws holding but if you use a small, shallow pilot hole they work fine. Also, if you plan to install a lot of them, as I did, you can save time by making cardboard templates to quickly locate and mark the door location and case location.

Ill complain about the price since I need something to complain about. But in reality these are by far the best ones I have found. We are a remodeler and install 50-100 kitchens / bathrooms a year. Sometimes you need to restrict the doors more or less than the available 86° clips from the manufacturer. Thats where these come in. You need a tiny bit of common sense to put them in so that they dont get caught in the door or whatnot, but Id hope you are handy enough to do so given that you are working on cabinetry.

I have a Liebherr French door fridge and the doors are able to hit my counter and a cabinet (they open to 145 degrees). I didnt want to risk damage to the counter or stainless door skin. The fridge manufacturer does not make a door restrictor for this model. You would think they would have thought about this for a $6K fridge. This product worked perfectly. I left the screws a tad loose without much pressure on the lugs which allows the lugs to rotate around when the door opens and closes as the wire angle charges. The wires tuck up perfectly on top and unseen and very discrete and even match the overall stainless look of the fridge. THANKYOU !!!!

Cabinet door stops like this are very hard to find! I have to say, they’re holding up extremely well in the busiest cabinet in our kitchen. This is a well built American product. I highly recommend purchasing.

This is just a brilliant idea!! They work extremely well and were super easy to install. The weird thing is most people dont know something like this even exists. I was aware door opening restrictors existed -- but they are usually a more complex design and much more expensive. This is just a super elegant solution to a very common problem how to I restrict a cabinet door so it doesnt bang into the wall or bang into the other drawer in a corner when I open it. I have six cabinet doors where I have this problem. Problem is now solved. I also installed them in my moms house, only two doors in her house had this problem. She thought the idea was super clever, and never knew something like this existed. The Quality of this product is exceptional! Would highly recommend these to anyone.
