I was looking for a laptop and couldnt find one that I liked, came across this one and ordered it based on the reviews and im so glad I purchased it!!! I love it!!

I got this laptop for less than $300 during prime day, but could easily justify spending full price ($320 last I saw) for this laptop. It has everything you need and nothing you dont the SSD is fast, and the minimalist design simplifies things and doesnt give you features you probably wont use (CD drive, touchscreen, etc) I may add additional RAM in the future, but as it sits now it does everything I need it to (and fast) for streaming, browsing and general computing.

Very nice screen hd1080. That’s good for my daily use, watching videos, doing web search. This a great choice with cheap price. For gaming, i rate 4 stars.

UPDATE: This computer had one job and one job only. To allow me to download my PS4 system software onto a thumb drive so it can be installed on the new internal drive on my PS4. IT FAILED MISERABLY!! Why didnt anyone tell me Windows 10 will not format thumb drives greater than 32GB in FAT32? I was absolutely furious until I found a free app that would format it. The computer is a great little machine. It is just hog-tied by Windows.

The casing around the screen has become warped after 3 months and the screen is unable to close. The right side hinge no longer functions and a split is seen between the case and the screen. The laptop is no longer mobile.

I ordered this and cancelled it twice. I was so afraid of the darn S Mode. I had never heard of it before and I am computer literate, so I was hesitant and kept cancelling.

It is just beyond me that manufacturers of laptops these days have no capacity to just make them LOUD ENOUGH TO HEAR OVER AIR CONDITIONING. The very highest volume setting available should be the lowest volume setting on a machine that is actually functional. So inbelievably annoying. Second acer laptop with this issue. How is it possible that this is a problem something built in 2020 can even have. Why. Why. WHY DO YOU TRY TO DRIVE ME INSANE ON PURPOSE.

Compré esta laptop en marzo de 2020, la tuve que comprar rápidamente debido a que todo se estaba volviendo virtual (después comento el porqué de esto), llego muy bien y hasta la fecha está funcionando bien (desde ella escribo la review), cumple con todo lo que dice, por lo que no puedo darle una nota negativa, no he tenido ningún problema hasta la fecha. Comento el tema de comprar rápidamente debido a que poco tiempo después encontré una laptop con mejores especificaciones por unos pocos dólares más, el presupuesto que tenía para ese momento era limitado, pero si hubiera buscado un poco más podría haber comprado esa laptop (mejor procesador y GPU), aclarar que esa otra laptop es de la misma marca, o sea ACER (la cual recomiendo mucho). Como digo no puedo decir nada negativo de la laptop, porque cumple con lo que dice, yo le aumenté la RAM (tiene otro slot libre) y le agregue un HDD de 1 TB; con ello no tuve problemas. Lo que puedo dar como consejo personal (como cliente) es que dedicale un tiempo a buscar y comparar opciones, no tomes en cuenta leds en el teclado para tomar la decisión de una laptop (lo terminaras apagando, llega a cansar, además de ser un gasto de batería) y toma en cuenta lo que realmente necesitas en una laptop.

My family has 3 of these. First one I bought for my oldest daughter as her off to college computer. After a year she was still very happy with it, so I bought one for my younger daughter and one for my wife. These 2 have been in service for about 7 months and are going strong.
