> 3 dayProbably not a bad computer if you dont intend to use it for anything more than like... checking facebook or something. It crashed multiple times within a few weeks of getting it. I bought it for my mom to use for some music editing stuff and it wouldnt stop crashing right away.

> 3 dayJust set it up and so far so good! Love Love Love the back lit keyboard! So handy - it wasnt something I would have put on my list of must haves but now that I have it I am not sure why I would do without. This is my first Aspire - had several Dell laptops but I had such bad luck with them that I switched to PC only for years. Finally broke down and thought I would try again so I am looking forward to updating this. Set up was very easy, internet connection fast, switching from several open windows is no problem. Very happy with my purchase!

> 3 dayAfter only 2 years, the laptop started going haywire. I noticed that my word documents started scrolling down so it had to be a stuck key etc. After a little troubleshooting I realized that it was the number 4 key. I had to remove that key but the problem still persisted. Right now the laptop goes off at random and more keys are nonresponsive. This happened after a software update. I need a new laptop and Im definitely not getting this one again, although it was exactly what I was looking for in the first place.

03-04-2025Bought this over two years ago and it still works consistently with no noticeable degradation in performance. Even convinced my parents to buy two more for themselves and they dont regret purchasing. In general, this laptop is great for browsing the web, watching movies, and doing non-intensive work. Great for college students since its relatively cheap compared to other options and is so light that you barely notice its in your bag. I get roughly 3.5 hours on battery life and a bit more if I lower the brightness/change power settings.

> 3 dayI bought for one of my students to use for remote learning during COVID. Almost kept it. lol. It looks, feels, and acts expensive. This computer is amazingly fast. Does not have enough memory, but you can use external hard drive. It packs a punch in terms of quality and display. Would highly recommend.

Greater than one weekVery light, GREAT screen, SSD drive and another spot for additional, up-gradable memory, I increased to 12 gig, plenty fast..I needed a Windows machine due to Microsoft ending support for Windows 7 which I love. I have many photo editing and guitar amp software so I decided to bite the bullet and try the Windows 10 which Im not happy about. Im totally happy with the computer, I just dont like MS spying on me out of principle, so it will see limited use while I run my Lenux Mint laptop for everyday internet stuff...much more secure at about 1/4 the size, you can actually run MInt off a USB stick
