I have had this laptop for a little over a month now. Setting it up was very easy. It does come in S mode but that is simple to undo. The screen quality seems good and the picture is excellent. Battery life is very good so far.

Bought this based on the specs and price. The picture on the site does not do this sleek little machine justice. Ergonomically, this machine rivals the top of the line for the layout of its keyboard and mouse control. I am very hard to please when it comes to Tech Stuff but this puppy is most definitely worth every penny. Buy it!

This isnt a screamer in performance, just very good speed. Its not a gaming computer. It does do a great job in video editing, however. The processor is a step up from base laptops. We wanted a larger display for video editing and its really nice. Battery life isnt really being tested much in our use, so I cant comment. It gets lugged around quite a bit so the lower weight is nice. Also the solid state hard drive should help the reliability; it sure boots fast because of it.

Great computer!! My only gripe is that the touch pad is super sensative...I hit right click and left click all the time without trying to. Other than that I highly recommend this laptop! Saved me hundreds of dollars!!

Loving this laptop!

I needed a laptop for my sons first year in college. I waited to the last minute like I always do with things (chronic procastinator!) no literally I purchased it 2 days before he left. I had never purchased anything with a large pricetag and/or electronics from Amazon so I was vey apprehensive. I did a little bit of homework, read some reviews and ultimately pulled the trigger and Im glad I did. My son who happens to be very picky especially with electronic/technology devices and he was completely satisfied, that was good enough for me! He says its fast, sturdy but light, has such an amazing screen and view that he frequently uses it to watch movies or for gaming rather than his tv and it fulfills the purpose it needs to fulfill for a laptop needed for his first year in college. Very happy mama with this purchase for my son.

Perfect for a student. Its fairly snappy. Just add some more storage if you need it and your good to go.
