We take just as a cold preventative, but our friends use daily. It does seem to ward of colds for us and/or help recovery a lot quicker. Our friends, twins in their 70s, are amazing physical specimens. Maybe we should take it every day?

I take this for my acne and it helps keep it at bay. I developed acne after our son was born and this supplement helps keep my skin clear if I take it regularly, which is a life saver for me because who has time to deal with acne? Not me. I’m not sure it works for all kinds of acne, but it did for me. Check with your dermatologist first though.

This is one of the better Lysine products that I have found.

Since starting this vitamin, my cold sore outbreaks have nearly diminshed. I would get a cold sore if I was starting to catch a cold or any sign that my immune system was compromised. I would get a cold sore a few times a year, I have had ONE cold sore since taking this. The cold sore that I did get was much smaller than normal and didnt last nearly as long as they usually do ( usually last 2 weeks or more). I am very pleased with this product.

I give this to my cat because she coughed a lot due to living in the past with heavy smokers. But these were too big, even in half. They also did not sit well on her stomach. Soooooo..... I started my husband on them because his lungs and trachea were scorched in an explosion while serving this country. He gets horrible colds and bronchitis. So far so good. He doesnt mind they are big pills. I will update you if he gets ill. But I dont see that happening. Actually even his sneezing and allergies have slowed way down.

I have been taking this brand for about 3 years now. And I will say the energy i get is nice, not overwhelming but nice. Also I use to get cold sores but using this I had not had one in a long time. I brought these originally to help with a false PCOS diagnosis but continued to take them cause I felt good. And my weight seemed to be easier to maintain and even lose some. The added plus is it helps with building up your immune system. Love this stuff!

These pills really did surpass my expectation. They are big but slick and easy to swallow. I was surprised. What I like most is they do not have a aftertaste. I take them first thing in the morning. I have not gotten strep throat or a sinus infection like I usually do around this time of year and my skins texture and complex has gotten much smoother and clearer. The pills also seem to give me all day energy so thats definitely a plus. I will be purchasing these often. Thanks

I found that Lysine does help to reduce the severity of Herpes damage. I have been sufferring from Herpes on and above my lips since childhood. Everyone knows it is almost impossible to control or heal this ugly virus :( This is my second bottle of Lysine and although Herpes occured once during the time I was taking tgese pills, it healed TWICE faster and was not that ugly and severe as usually. That is why I plan to take these pills regularly from now on.

Doesn’t have a terrible taste... but the pill is huge. Just take one and then the rest of your vitamins separately a few minutes later

I take a lot of supplements and I have for years. I was a bit surprised when I started seeing consistently an undigested tablet in the toilet when using the toilet. This had not happened before. I do take digestive enzymes to help me digest the raw and cooked foods I eat and upon this discovery I came to realize it was this product. The tablets have a benign taste so I started crunching them before swallowing crushing it up a bit hoping this would help the digestion and absorption process, nope, I started passing the crushed pieces. Final analysis this product is very difficult to breakdown in the body. I will look for capsules with powered l-lysine and hope this will solve the problem. Maybe this is not true for everyone, just monitor and if it does happen just return within the window of times. I missed it.
