The 4 villains in this movie made it so funny. They had one goal and couldnt stop Batman and Robin. Well usually the good guys are successful. It is a fun and neat movie to watch.

The grandkids watch this again and again at my house. At first, they say “This, again?” And then, they color and play and watch their favorite parts and can even report to me what’s going to happen next sometimes. Good clean fun.

This is THE ORIGINAL. Intellectual humor, over the top comedy, total silliness and campy story lines. No dark demonic Batman here, just the real thing. After watching it, I remembered why I loved Batman so much as a kid! It was one of the most wordy shows out there and intelligence was required to get most of the jokes, it actually got me looking words up as a child! Nothing like the original series, sad how it has gotten debauched with dark violent themes. Nothing quite like the REAL THING.

The film adaptation of the popular ABC TV series from 1966-68 has it all, action, adventure, romance, danger and comedy. Adam West and Burt Ward were excellent in the roles of Batman and Robin. Lee Meriwether(who replaces Julie Newmar due to a prior commitment)was at her sexiest as the Catwoman, and Frank Gorshin, Burgess Meridith and Cesar Romero were hilariously enjoyable as the villains. The special features contains a featurette with Adam and Burt talking about the behind the scenes stories, also there is a tour of the Batmobile with its creator, George Barris. This movie is a treat for kids as well as adults, it may not be the TV series we hope for, but it is close enough!

Classic American production, what a great view. I would advise anyone to show the new generation this masterpiece. It reminds me of watermelon Sundays and hot summer nights when my heart was young and gay. Adam West the majestic somber faced master, with his devoted Burt Ward rallying as the perfect foil parrying and cavorting through the majestic sets of a magnificent bygone era. This movie represented the zenith of entertainment on this planet. The only series to go near it, was the Star Trek original with Captain Kirk, and the crew of the good ship enterprise, reward yourself and buy this, then purchase the box set of the complete series. I have not opened my set yet, I am still savoring the bouquet of the the haunting memories that linger within my soul.

All I can say is that I hadnt watch any of the campy, classic 1960s Batman for decades and this was my reintroduction to it. It was sooo much better than I thought it would be. All the stuff I noticed as an adult that got past me as a kid! Lee Meriwether is a perfect Catwoman, and its just a great story too.

Corny but it is a good manifestation of the 60s ideas of Batman. This is the movie made from the 60sTV show. The classic show has all the earmarks of the time, with the villains played in a very campy and humorous way. The bumbling police chief is as funny as ever. And Alfreds calmness as he maintains the secrecy of the dual identities around poor clueless Aunt Harriet.

Great vintage movie! The first Batman I ever meet, I saw the show in the 80s (Im 40) so this movie bring me good memories, in this movie you can see the Joker, Cat Woman, the Penguin and the Riddler, but sadly no one really shows their evilness, I prefer by far the 60s show.
