Now that Ive got them set up, these switches do exactly what I want. I have 3 devices I want switched on or off at the wall, and I always want to turn them all on or off at once. Both the BN-Link app and Alexa let me do exactly that, turn them all on or off from my phone with a single tap. I had a few minor issues connecting them initially. I couldnt detect any of them with Bluetooth, so I had to select them manually. The BN-Link app thought I had to switch my phone from my 5 Ghz network to my 2.4 Ghz network, but that wasnt actually necessary. Both are internally part of the same network, so it didnt matter that the switches were connecting via 2.4 Ghz. Alexa integration was super easy, but I ended up using the BN-Link app anyway. Id use Alexa if I wanted to use voice control, but I really wanted control from my phone, and the BN-Link app is friendlier for that. One of my 4 switches was defective, and wouldnt turn on. After some back and forth, BN-Link replaced it for free. No need to return all 4 just because one was bad. It took about a week to get a replacement, and the replacement works fine.

I’m changing my review. It was not easy to get this to hook up to the app . After many many attempts I finally got it to work and I love it . It works as it should .

Im really impressed with it. Its a great choice for anyone who needs a reliable smart plug that can handle heavy-duty tasks. Firstly, this smart plug can handle large power loads. I was a bit worried about overloading, but this plug handled my 1800W espresso coffee machine with ease. Its definitely reassuring to know that I dont have to worry about causing any electrical problems. Secondly, the timer function is fantastic. Once I set it up, it continued to work even if my Wi-Fi connection broke. This means that I can rely on the timer to turn my devices on and off at specific times, even if Im not home or if theres a problem with my internet connection. Overall, I highly recommend this. Its really convenient to be able to control my devices from my phone and the ability to handle large power loads makes it stand out from other smart plugs on the market. Give it a try and see how it can make your life easier!

100% would recommend & buy again. I dont usually leave reviews, but in this case I felt my experience should be shared. I purchased a 4-pack of outlets and strangely, when I opened the box, one of the outlets had a piece of tape covering it with the word defective handwritten on it. Apparently I was sent a previously returned package that had included one of four outlets being defective. I contacted customer support and got immediate service via the companys online text assistant. I sent them a couple of pics and my order number and was immediately told I would receive a replacement outlet (as that was my preference vs a refund that was also offered). The replacement arrived just a few days later. I was only expecting a single outlet, but surprisingly two came instead, which I really appreciate! It feels like an excellent gesture of apologizing for the error (which I realize may have been Amazons fault) and showing me the company appreciates my extra time & effort to go through the RMA process. By the way, the (remaining) 3 original outlets functioned perfectly. All were easy to add to my smart home network and have functioned perfectly in the week+ since.

I use a combination of BN, Wyze and Hue. For the price the BN stuff is great. The programming is a little bit more fussy (similar to IFTTT programming) and the timer isnt *quite* as precise, but they always work and they work well. The Hue and Wyze plugs are always in sync down to the second. The BN products always seem to be about 22-30 seconds behind - not a huge deal. But if you want everything to be perfectly in sync you might want to keep all the brands the same in your chain.

I originally purchased a Wemo so that I could program my Rocket espresso machine to come on a half hour before my morning and afternoon coffee times, but discovered that the it wouldnt work for me. I do not have Apple network devices, and learned that with my iPhone I could only manually turn my machine on and off remotely, but not establish a SCHEDULE for it. I returned the Wemo and found the BN-Link device. It offers easy on/off schedule programming on my phone via the BN-Link app, and easily handles the high amperage of my machine. The directions for linking to your wifi are unnecessarily complicated--some would say convoluted--but once I played around with it a bit, I found my network and things fell into place. BN-Link would be wise to simplify those directions, because I am sure some people get frustrated and send the thing back. That is unfortunate, because once you figure it out, it is great.

Every year I have to coordinate the timing on several different holiday interior displays. These smart plugs make that a simple matter. Heres the steps I had to take: 1) Download BN-LINK Smart app on my phone. 2) Create an account. 3) Add plug - it was detected easily with BLE and then connected to my WiFi network. 4) Open Alexa app on phone and it detected the plug and added the correct skill to allow voice control. 5) Add plug to Holiday Lights group and set up a routine to turn that group on and off at scheduled times. I was really worried about steps 4 and 5 because personal experience has shown that the Alexa integration is not always easy. However, things have progressed to the point where the BN-LINK Smart app and Alexa walk you through everything to quickly get these smart plugs up and running. Now we have everything turn on and off based on a schedule while still allowing for customized voice control - the best of both worlds. I cant think of any reason to not recommend these plugs. If you dont have Alexa theres no problem because the BN-LINK Smart app allows you to set up a schedule for each plug right in the app. Two thumbs up for how easy this whole thing was.

These work great. Can’t figure out on/off schedule. There seems to only be scheduling on option. Instruction pamphlet was extremely difficult to read, so finally had to google you tube video to set up/pair with my smartphone.

I hooked these up in various locations and they all seem to be working ok. Much more responsive to commands then the multiple plug in one. Definitely worth the price
