Work as described and works remotely as expected when away from home. Just install the BN-Link app on your phone . Press the button until it flashes after plugging it in. Then choose add Device and choose Plug (BLE+WIFI-FI) on the app and after 1-2 minutes, itll show up. Works on Alexa really well and aligns with the name given on the app and its really cool to have it work through Alexa. I love the ability to have multiple timed schedule windows. I used it for Christmas lights, plant lights and living room lights to turn on while out of town to pretend somebody was home. If you unplug it, it will forget all settings and youll have to redo the config.

Great value for 4 of these. Very compact compared to others - see pic. (They are not high drain cords, its only 2 low-wattage LED lamps, a laptop charger and a TV) I dont think I would plug a heater or anything high drain into this switch (or the outlet extender for that matter) just to be on the safe side. I have a Google WiFI router in my small apartment and everything works as expected. Cant comment on range. Set Up - I completed setting up 4 units and adding to Google Home in about 20 mins. I found my way around pretty quick, especially after the first one, but I am fairly tech savvy. I can easily imagine some people getting confused. The instructions arent great and simply wrong in some places. In example the instructions say after add device to choose electrical outlet option. This option did not exist, so I chose something like socket/wifi and that worked. There is one especially confusing part while setting up the Smart Life app. It pops up something along the lines of You must use a 2.4 ghz connection! which sounds like an error stating that you are not connected to one. Knowing my router is 2.4 ghz, I clicked continue and all was fine. After setting up the SmartLife app, I continued setting up within the Google Home app which was fairly straight forward. After the initial setup of the first unit, all I had to do for the other 3 was designate a room. I can confirm they *DO* indeed work individually with Google Home routines, regardless of other information Ive read elsewhere. I have it programmed with the single phrase OK Google ... turn on/off lights to turn on/off three of the units at once. Beautiful. I imagine most people just arent very familiar with the proper setup. Technology is changing rapidly and no one can blame anyone for getting behind :) On a whim I completely turned off my phone just to make sure they are working directly via WiFi and not bridged through the phone app in any way (yes they still worked). So I guess in theory, after setup you could uninstall the app. But I plan to keep the app because Im sure the current-draw feature alone will be useful. Finally I unplugged my router to test re-connection. Less than a minute and some blinking lights later, they each reconnected on their own and each one remembered its own previous on/off state. Impressive! I cant say anything about the long term durability, but if these hold up for a couple years (until the next big thing) Ill be very happy with my purchase.

I would highly recommend these. Once I got the app and was able to sync the app and plug; it was easy to set up the timers.

I am getting this for my short term rental home and the houses I’m selling I can turn it on at a random time, that way squatters doesn’t think the house is vacant.

Im really impressed with it. Its a great choice for anyone who needs a reliable smart plug that can handle heavy-duty tasks. Firstly, this smart plug can handle large power loads. I was a bit worried about overloading, but this plug handled my 1800W espresso coffee machine with ease. Its definitely reassuring to know that I dont have to worry about causing any electrical problems. Secondly, the timer function is fantastic. Once I set it up, it continued to work even if my Wi-Fi connection broke. This means that I can rely on the timer to turn my devices on and off at specific times, even if Im not home or if theres a problem with my internet connection. Overall, I highly recommend this. Not rated for it but we are using these outside (covered patio up near the roof in a weather rated outdoor gfi outlet). We have a set of heavy duty outdoor string lights plugged into them that we like to turn off and on wirelessly. I chose this style based solely on where the power button is. The outlet is installed horizontally and the cover makes it hard for the other wifi plugs to fit (the power button on most of them is on the left side and the cover presses on it and turns it off). This one is a little cumbersome but the plug on the back is on the left side and the button is on the right so it hangs down out of the outlet perfectly and the button is clear. The last wifi plug we had was only 10 amps and it got fried in a month. Not sure if the draw from the patio lights was too strong or what, but this one has been working well so far and it was easy to set up (I did not set it up so cannot give any specific details on that).

I purchased the 2-unit package of smart wifi plugs. One of the plugs worked great, the other not at all. I emailed Customer Support about my problem, and they sent a replacement that I received 2 days later. I did not have to return the defective unit. Tip-of-the-hat to their Customer Support, Diana and Steven, because it could not have been easier for me. I am using the smart plugs to turn lamps on and off in the house. Each plug has a manual on/off button, and each plug is set up with its own on/off schedule via the smart-phone app. You can also turn each plug on/off via the app. I like it!

Works great with aquarium lights. Easy to program and set up!

East to set up and makes turning on our kitchen light a breeze. Works very well with Alexa.
