This device does a good job controlling each of our three motorized roller shades. You can also set up a group so it controls all your shades at the same time. Our motorized shade has a customizable mid position feature which is triggered when holding down the stop button on the remote; unfortunately I could not figure out how this Wi-Fi device is activated as a hold button.

This product was exactly what I was looking for. I have a bunch of IR devices including a TV and a Hi Fi sound system. Moreover, the house is full of RF switches and outlets I needed to control in a centralized way. I was able to automate much of my house using this device and now Im able to voice-control those devices. Setting up was quick and easy and the ability of recording either IR or RF signals is amazing.

Works as described. I have all my tvs and anything with ir support connect to it. So I can Simple say, “Alexa, it’s Movie time” and it will active my screen for my projector and anything else I have set to that scene

This device is great to automate devices in your home using Homekit (with the Homebridge plugin). The BroadLink app is still needed to initially connect the device. For me BroadLinks support was great, I recently had to contact support when I couldnt find the app in the Apple App store, they quickly responded and fixed the issue.

This is the only option in the market and it works, makes any applices with remote smart for cheap. Interface is very straight forward. I very like it, i bought it twice.

I had a fairly easy time setting it up. It is compact and comes with a mounting plate. However, the integration with Alexa for devices like TV and Set-top boxes is limited to the point that it really can just turn devices on and off. Integration with Alexa routines is limited. Comes with a sensor cable to report temperature and humidity. Even that isnt supported in an Alexa routine. I would consider keeping it as a learning remote that is accessible via my phone. However, the phone app for button layout is also limited. You cant have a single layout on the phone with buttons that combine TV and the set-top box. The button layouts are static and not configurable; you cant move change the layout nor add/remove buttons. Unused buttons are still displayed. If you touch the unassigned buttons it requests that you assign a IR code to them. You can only assign IR codes to them. You cannot assign a series of IR codes to a single button to let say turn on the TV and set-top box together. As such, even as a configurable learning remote it falls seriously short.

Very easy to setup and program. Works very well with my motorized shades.

This is a bit tricky to set up and the only issue I have is that sometimes it forgets my appliances, but overall using it in conjunction with a Blink camera, it helps me keep an eye on the temperature in my room and whats going on in there when Im not there. Its pretty good. Im sure there must be a more reliable one out there though.

We set up the Christmas lights for our entire house with Etekcity RF-type remote controls and I didnt want to have to buy 16 WiFi Smartplugs to get them to work by voice command. This device, after a quick, easy setup connected to all the remotes and I can now control all of them with Alexa. I also got it to activate my remote fireplace. This was one of the best technology purchases Ive ever made!
