Buy way too much stuff on Amazon but seldom write reviews. Well this product has knocked my socks off! Great quality printing, large paper tray, double sided copies automatically, very inexpensive per page compared to most other printers!

Mine lasted just over 2 years (2yrs and 2 months after installing) in a very mild use environment- we go through about 1k sheets in about a year…probably more than a year. Started to not connect to network then just wouldn’t stay on. Unplugging starts it up but it almost immediately shuts down. Will go back to HP after this experience.

I have tried for months to print mixed paper size documents with not success. I have contacted brother repeatedly and I just spent 1 hour just today. We tried everything and then I was told that there was nothing else that they could do and referred me to contact adobe. I plan to sell this machine and buy another printer from a different brand.

As all Brother printers, it is easy to install (easier than. HP) and runs perfect. The cost per page is the lowest I found in this printer category.

I’ve got a full Mac setup in my house and I got this printer up and running without using any kind of usb connection in less than five minutes. Connected to the wifi network via the lcd screen on the printer, set it up on my Mac, and was printing wirelessly from my laptop, iPad and iPhone right away. A+ would buy again.

I give this 4 stars because when its working its terrific, but it took several years and several hundred dollars to get it there. I purchased this printer back in 2019 and it never printed clearly. There were smudges and dots everywhere. No matter how many times I cleaned the machine they would reappear quickly. I thought it might clear up on its own, even after replacing the toner cartridge, but it wasnt until I replaced both the toner cartridge and drum that the printer started to work as it should. Unfortunately the cost for both was close to $200, which is about 4/5ths of the cost of a new printer, but at least it now works as it should - clear printing, with no smudges. My recommendation is to make sure to contact Brother quickly if you are having any issues with print quality so that they pay for the replacement toner and drum, not you. Once its working, there are no issues and youll be happy with the product.

If the printer has been sitting unused for a while the first-off prints will be speckled. After a while, with volume printing, the prints are clean and sharp. This is probably because the internal components are allowed to start printing before they have gotten up to full temp. Its fine for basic b+w document needs. Ive had no problems with wireless connectivity with both my Macintosh and my iPhone.

This thing is always printing out books worth of stuff and I hardly ever have to change the toner. Its good stuff. It has only jammed three times during the year weve had it, and that is VERY good.
