Not compatible with OS X Sierra and latest AirPrint. I had to return it.

The Wifi connection will not hold and must constantly reboot.

Does not seem to be a good network printer. I am an a pretty good LAN, but the printer is exceptionally slow to respond to PRINT action. Often times has the data light flashing, but will not produce the document. Again, it could be a network problem, but there are no other issues with the network that I am aware of. Lately, the printer prints crazy machine-language-type for pages in Word documents. Very random, but they will take 8 or 10 pages of paper with totally garbled data. In addition, it does not print envelopes correctly in Word. All of these features work with my same Surface when I am at home using a non-wifi Brother printer on my LAN at home. So ... I changed my L5200DL at the office (the printer I am reviewing) to a local printer on the LAN with a cable, and all seems good. So, either my wifi is bad (no indications elsewhere) or the printers wifi interface is bad. Have not contacted Brother yet.

I’ve got a full Mac setup in my house and I got this printer up and running without using any kind of usb connection in less than five minutes. Connected to the wifi network via the lcd screen on the printer, set it up on my Mac, and was printing wirelessly from my laptop, iPad and iPhone right away. A+ would buy again.

Brother use to make great printers not anymore

Followed the directions closely and came very close to giving up and returning the printer. Made me feel like it was 1994 again--back before printers were easy to install. What the hell, brother?!?

I like Brothers product. Havent used it a lot.

I purchased this in March and have used it very lightly, still on the starter toner cartridge. The printer works great (connectivity, set-up, etc.) but has one major problem, the toner leaks onto the prints producing speckles all over the paper. This started happening about a month after I started using it and has only gotten worse. If I print more than a few pages at a time, the leak is contained on the first 2-3 pages. But then the next day it starts all over again. Very disappointed. I wonder if others have had the same problem. I am including a photo of a blank page the way it comes out the printer.
