> 3 dayI use this product 6/7 days a week (yes I do) and I can tell you its really made my life easier during the last couple of years (and counting). Its a breeze to pickup dirt and debris from the floor and Im able to clean the entire house with battery to spare (~30% left once done). I can even use it to clean sofa and chairs in addition to cleaning the floor. As of this writing, this product is 42% cheaper compared to when I bought it (sigh). However, if I divide the purchase cost by the number of days Ive been using it non-stop, its been a very smart investment (less than what you spend on your coffee, lets put it that way). Now the downside - customer support is pretty much useless. Theres a known issue with the trigger that requires you to replace it after some time . Mine failed 1-week after my 2 year warranty expired. Support insisted this was either a battery issue or that the entire motor needed replacement (nonsense). I did a google search and found about the broken trigger issue and bought a replacement in Amazon. Dyson support wasnt even able to offer me a replacement trigger and only offered to notify me if it ever was available. I disassembled the machine on my own and replaced the trigger (thank you youtube). Its back in business :) In summary, this is a very smart investment and no regrets with this purchase. However, per my experience, be aware of the trigger issue and the fact that Dyson Support is pretty much useless (a shame considering the quality and functionality of this product).

> 3 dayWe typically just use it one room at a time, but it should be able to last a few rooms. Its also light enough and portable enough to carry up a flight of stairs easily. There are two issues I have with it though. First, its top heavy. Which is obvious, since everything is up top. So, even though its lightweight, for my elderly parents, its not as easy to use. The second issue is more of a design issue. You have to keep your finger on the trigger. Granted its a very light trigger. But when you add in this is top heavy, it easily gets very difficult juggling the weight with the need to constantly pull the trigger. I would have preferred an on off trigger, so that you can hold the vacuum however is most comfortable. As for the vacuum itself. It sucks everything up. What I was most impressed with was how much dust it picks up. Definitely a lot more than my older vacuum. The attachments are also easy to put on, and take off. Emptying the vacuum is easy with the one touch ejection. But definitely empty the vacuum outside in the trash can, as dust does seem to fly around when cleaning it. Other than that, it does whats advertised. Can be used on carpet or hardwood floors. it rolls easy, although cornering takes a bit of work.

> 3 dayMy only disappointment is having to continue to hold down the on trigger. Everything else is perfect.

> 3 dayI have been wanting a Cordless Dyson for a long time and i am not disappointed! The battery lasts very good except on Boost mode but that seems self explanatory because it’s going to full power to get deep into your carpet. You get about 14 min at full charge in this mode.

> 3 dayAbsolutely loving it.This is my third Dyson vacuum, two uprights and this cordless. You are getting an upright, which is lighter, cordfree, easier to manuever, quieter, has more suction, and can get to places the uprights couldnt. You are also getting a handheld you can use in the car, unencumbered by a cord, which is also terrific for quick cleanups and dusting around the house.Throw in the handy docking station which keeps the vacuum constantly charged, while also keeping it stowed, and you have the perfect cleaning tool. This is an actuaI 2 in 1 vacuum, unlike the upright canister vacuum which is a chore to use when using attachments because of the unwieldy hose.I am interested in the technology that goes into such a tool,as well as its ability to clean my house, and this is as good as it gets.Would I have ever thought I would ever spend this much on a vacuum,no,but I am glad I did and it is well worth the money. And the fact that Amazon allowed me to purchase this vacuum over 5 months interest free, makes this purchase a no brainer and just shows how Amazon stays ahead of its competition with incentives such as this.Highly recommended. As a footnote, when purchasing this vacuum, the serial number is visible on the outside of the box. Before you break the seal and it becomes a used vacuum, register the vacuum before ever opening the box and breaking the seal.Once Dyson confirms your warranty, which was almost instantaneous, then go ahead and unbox, that way if there is a warranty problem, the vacuum remains a brand new, unopened item which can be easily returned.

10-04-2025I bought a Dyson V10 a few years ago, and I love it. I moved to a new house, and my stuff has been in storage for several months, and my place was just getting too dusty for simple sweeping clean and/or mopping the floors. So I decided to give the V11 a chance. The Time Remaining Meter: Thats a cool feature, but not terribly important for me personally. It was easy to get accustomed to how much vacuuming I could do with the V10 before I had to charge it again. The Real-Time Carpet/Floor Adjustment: Not very impressed with the smart speed setting when rolling over throw rugs, at least. I have tile and wood floors, and only have small throw rugs in the bathroom, for example. It doesnt really register and speed up until Im about 40%-60% done with the 3x5 carpet. I think it would be more convenient if you have larger carpet space to vacuum over. Conclusion: Other than those two additions, this is basically the V10, but revised. Either model is a good purchase. I only had cheap $30-$40 Dirt Devil small vacuums for 20+ years, and got tired of the terrible efficiency. It also was annoying when a model I had would no longer have replacement bags and pieces after a couple/few years. The Dyson was initially something that made me think What the heck are you doing spending this much for a VACUUM?!, only to go home and vacuum my entire place in 20 minutes. I was floored (pun intended), because it used to take 20 minutes to do just the living room! So I recommend considering these models if you want a mobile, not too heavy, and reliable vacuum that is really easy to empty the dust into the trash. The attachments are nice as well, but... ADVICE: Adjust your budget to include the fluffy cleaner head. That is amazing if you have tile and/or wooden floors.

> 3 dayLove the Dyson overall and have owned multiple. Only issue with the V11 torque is the weak housing around the trigger. You have to push the battery into the housing to turn it off. I was finally able to get Dyson to warranty. They are sending a new main body housing. This is a common problem based on my research online and a manuf. defect.

> 3 dayI am not a cleaning gadget person. Give me a rag and some Simple Green, a mop, a broom and a vacuum and thats pretty much it. I have purchased several vacuums I thought were good (always more money than I liked), but always came up short for cleaning. I finally bit the bullet and purchased this Dyson V11 Animal vacuum. I figured I would ultimately disappointed again, but for more money this time. I was wrong! I have been blown away by how much better this vacuum works than any I have had before. I love, LOVE not being tethered to the wall and dithering with a cord all the time. This vacuum has so much more power than my past corded vacuums, it is easy to handle, the head is low enough to go under my furniture, it is easy to empty and it doesnt give me a backache as my others have. The battery lasts long enough for me to do our 1850 sq foot house end to end. We have hardwood floors with scattered wool area rugs and having the vacuum adjust to each new surface without my help is pretty darned neat and IT WORKS. We live in the Rocky Mountains, so we have an additional season....the season of mud. We have two cats and two dogs that love the outdoors and come and and go freely through a pet door. So we have A LOT of dirt and A LOT of hair. I am not a happy house keeper. I want to do it once a week and be done with it. That leaves a few days of the week with some pretty dirty floors. Not anymore. This vacuum is so easy to use and so effective that I grab it often and keep the floors up. AND WOW does it pick stuff up and suck all the dirt out of my rugs. They are definitely brighter and I was surprised to be able to actually see a difference. I do not hesitate at all to recommend it.

> 3 dayI purchased this vacuum in January 2020 for $467. It does a great job on removing pet fur from carpet. The attachment for furniture also works well. It does not do a great job on hardwood, laminate, or tile. Unless you vacuum slowly, debris is scattered by the roller brush. It would work better if this feature could be turned off for hard flooring. I’ve had this vacuum for just over 3 years. After about a year of use, a plastic part near the brush head broke off. See photo. Not a big deal. After about 2 years a portion of the housing near the trigger broke off. This left a sharp edge and exposed part of the trigger normally covered. See photo. A few months ago, the battery started to lose charge. What I used to vacuum on a single charge now requires a recharge. Today, the trigger failed. Turns out this is a common problem. This appears to be a planned design failure. The part is thin plastic. You can buy a replacement trigger for about $20 that is more robust. This is a known defect that Dyson won’t fix. Since the housing on my vacuum is already broken, the trigger is loose so this option may not be my best solution. I decided to spend $152 to replace the entire main body and motor. I may buy a compatible replacement battery. They are about half the cost of a Dyson battery. You would think Dyson would have a exchange program for batteries… Overall, this vacuum works. Just don’t expect it to last more than 3 years.
