> 3 dayVery pleased with these brackets. Very well constructed and heavy. If you are unaware, cut wood/lumber is not always the same size. Be sure to measure the ends of each 4x4 and 4x6 to make sure they are the right size. In my case I did and all pieces fit easily but snugly. Better yet, take one of the brackets with you when shopping for the wood so you can test at the store. Very happy with how they worked and everything came together.

> 3 dayI was told to stay away from pre treated lumber. That it’s not a great option for a kids setup. It contains a lot of chemicals, and the wood is rough, and splinter laden. Unless you want to sand it, on top of the time with putting everything together. Prices for wood are insane nowadays. But red wood will last for my kids’ lifetime, and it’s soft. I purchased a 4x6 12’ for the header, 4 4x4 10’ for the legs, and 2 2x6 8’ for cross supports. 8’ legs would be fine. Mine is really tall, but it allows for some awesome swing expanse for my 8 and 10 year old. Idk how people do it with a 10’ header with 3 swings. There’s barely enough room for 3 on a 12’ beam. I separated the swings by 18” from center all the way across. I wouldn’t go to 16” like other sites have suggested for swings. My red wood fit into the brackets with a little wiggle room to spare. They seem strong and sturdy. I purchased steel stakes for the legs and that took care of the rocking question.

> 3 dayWe wanted a swing set for our daughter but did not want to pay the ridiculous price for a full ready to assemble kit. This kit was very easy to assemble. The biggest issue is there were no instructions on my box, but it was pretty easy to figure out. It fit 4x4s for the legs and a 4x6 for three beam very well. It is sturdy enough to support the combined weight of two adults and a toddler (in our case close to 600lbs) with no signs of stress at all. I purchased this set over others because the build looked solid (and it is) and they price was right. I am very pleased with this purchase.

> 3 dayUsed a sledge hammer and a block of wood to drive the brackets on to the 4 x 6 top piece but Id rather a snug fit. 4 x 4 legs slid in easily. I did add a 2 x 6 brace between the legs for a true A frame. Using pressure treated wood be ready for a heavy lift to get it upright and moved in to place. Im very happy with the quality and the end result. The only thing is where Amazon advertises that this is from a small business brand. Support small. When I got the box it says Made in China. Must be a small China business.

> 3 dayThis is the way to go! We love it. Much cheaper than buying the whole wooden swing set, that does not fit our needs. We set it up using 4X4 x8ft long legs, 4X6 x 10 ft long beam. The wood is the red treated wood from Home Depot. Cost $81. We are military so we move a lot, the movers will be able to take this apart and put back together at our new duty stations. It has strong hardware, easy to put together. You just add the swings you want.(we have 3 things on there so far) Ours is tall , just in case we have to saw off some of the legs after taking it apart a few times. Not being able to use the same drill holes in the wood. As our child grows up, we will put a wooden swing for two on it and a hamack swing. There is room for all of that.
