EyezOn Envisalink EVL-4EZR IP Security Interface Module for DSC and Honeywell (Ademco) Security Systems, Compatible with Alexa

Great product with very good written instructions for installing it in my Honeywell 15p and 20p Vista systems.

This is an economical solution to gain control of the ADT / Honeywell / Ademco Vista panel, so you dont have to pay monthly fees for monitoring and/or control. I use the app for my cell phone, but you could also use a tablet and/or computer. The EVL also works with panels made by DSC. It works great. I love it.

I have this setup and working in minutes. That part was easy. Unfortunately, it completely died in less than 24hrs. Now the unit gets no power at all. I am using a PC1616 board. Alarm board is just fine. This unit piggybacks off the same connectors that your alarms display panel uses. Unfortunately for whatever reason, my Envisalink died right away. I suppose Im grateful it died within the Amazon return period.

Brought my 13 year old DSC wired alarm into the age of connectivity! One tip, if you cant find your mobile phone provider in the list when setting up SMS/text alarm forwarding, check if your provider offers e-mail to text/SMS functionality. Then you can set up the forwarding to your phone as an extra e-mail receiver ([email protected])

This has allowed me to connect my Vista 20p to my network. Now I am connected to my smartthings hub and integrated with Google home. Very happy with this product. Easy to install and configure.

Upgraded from v3. A reliable interface module. Does what it designed to do and does it well. Brilliant.

Works great now I can monitor my alarm when I am not home or simply alarm my system when I have my phone in my hand!
