Wish i had found this 5-8 years ago, could of saved monitoring service plus landline easily $75 a month. Basically pay itself off in 2 months. The app is easy to use and response time to signal your phone in case of alarm 25 seconds. 3 months into it and loving it.

Easy to install and figure. Love how I have ability to monitor / arm / disarm when away from the house. I cant tell you how many times I have remote arm/disarmed so I dont have to tell people my alarm code. I joined EyesOn monitoring service also and cancelled my analog telephone monitoring. Saving 20 bucks a month so this will pay for itself in about six months! Be sure to enter the following DSC codes to disable your phone monitoring. I had both monitoring services active for a couple of weeks and the EyesOn people called me two more times than Guardian. Sheesh.

This device was so easy to hookup. I was shocked. I made my old hard worded system smart and web enabled. I love it. I also was able to tie this into Home Assistant for automation. This put new life to my alarm system. Highly recommend.

Had an existing security setup from previous home owner with a Honeywell Vista 20p in the basement, adding this was simple if you follow the instructions on the website. Setup was relatively painless. Purchasing this with an upfront cost of ~$100 offsets the month subscription a company would charge to set it up and monitor. You get full control of what you want to do with your system with this, and app is relatively basic but easy to use. Would recommend as a DIY project if you invest some time to understand if this will work for your system. PS: if you get a long range frequency error, check to see if you have an antenna connected as well. For my system, there was a separate square that acted as a cell communicator that was setting off the error.

Now I can self moniter my alarm system. I became aware of this product several years ago, however it requires a ethernet cable to wifi router. That ment running a cable in the attic and down the inside of a wall or running the cable thru my crawl space. Did not like either option. Recently I looked at it again and after reading the reviews, I read where someone used a wifi extender to hook it up. OK i hadnt thought about that. I oreded it and a wifi extender, hooked them up, very easy just follow instructions and everything works. I get notifications and can arm or disarm system remotely. Just what i wanted, and I know which zone is open. Works well and just what I wanted. Peace of mind when i am away.
