Greater than one weekThis is likely a good product but I couldnt get to connect to any of my computers which rejected its IP address. Shut off all firewalls, etc, still no go on any of my seven computers. I could ping it, so it was alive. If you cant connect to the board, you are out of business. Seemed like a simple issue so I sent an email asking for help (since I am very familiar with this technology and the Ademco, I rarely ask for support). I received an answer saying that I needed to submit an official support request! They could have merely forwarded my email to the support department since I am a registered user but, instead, they made it my problem! Since I no way of knowing if I would hear from their support department (probably Bob), I decided to just sent it back since I have other things to do. I hope the CEO reads this and often Amazon gets back to the company. Too bad since I couldnt trust them to do my monitoring.

> 3 dayAwesome product. Some security services are like a STD -- there is no way to get rid of them. With this module, you are free from monthly charges and lifetime hard sell. BUT -- if you want the extra services, Eyez-on will provide a economical rates. Very easy to install in my DSC panel. Four quick wires, and ready to go. I had to run an extended LAN cable, was worried about having all of the connections correct. No problem -- the module has lights that show when it has LAN connection, when connected, etc. Only minor comment is that the documentation is slightly cryptic. Even when not alamed, it will let you know when zones open, close, etc. So take control from those Awful Doggone Troublesome services, and get this module.

> 3 dayWish I had found this sooner. Its a small board that fits on risers on the (in)side of my alarm panel box (not the backplane). Connect the RBYG 4 wires to the keypad terminals (I have a DSC 1832), power back up, and there are LEDs on board to let you know if anything is wrong or incomplete. The only stumbling block was the inserted instructions said to use MyConnect2Gos website; you want to use EyezOn instead. I tried both email alerts and/or T-Mobile text messages, both worked fine with no fees (not even a credit card). EyezOn has detailed install instructions on their website.

Greater than one weekI have a Honeywell panel and the Envisalink device came highly recommended. I agree. Its not only easy to install, but just plain works. I get alarm/disarm and other notifications on my cell phone at no cost to me. Arming and disarming as well as other functions are also included, even by-passing sensors. The only problem is sometimes it can take a while to get a notification, but its free. There is an option to subscribe to priority updates, but in my opinion, its really not needed. Oh, and after installing it, it automatically updated its firmware. This is required as its only going to work out of the box, with a DSC panel. Highly recommend this device if you self monitor your alarm. For a fee, EyezOn also offers alarm monitoring, too.

> 3 dayI added this to a new Honeywell Vista 20-P Alarm Panel. I have used an Envisalink 3 for years but when I moved we had both the old and new homes for several months. This allowed me to be able to monitor both panels remotely regardless of where I was. Simple and easy to install and use. No monitoring fees but if the alarm triggers (which it never has, I can either call a neighbor to check the house or call the police. This is especially easy to do at the new house because the local police dept will watch (do drive bys) while you are out of town if you ask them. Better than paying the fees for a professional system in every way except one - no discount from your insurance company but the discount is a fraction of the monitoring fees. So, this is still the best solution that I have found!

03-04-2025This thing rocks. Does what it says. It provides free personal monitoring or the cheapest 3rd party monitoring available

> 3 dayPurchased and installed mine with a Honeywell Vista 20p alarm system. Works well and fairly easy to setup if you are a DIY person. This is compatible with HomeSeer home automation to hook your security system up with the rest of your home. Pros: Self monitoring using web-based app with SMS or Email notifications of all kinds of events Fairly easy to use Cheapest available monitoring available through a US or Candada Eyez-on partner AlarmRelay will also monitor using this product. Cons: Web-based app is not full featured (No Zone Labels) unless you pay a bit monthly. Paying does give you a few other benefits such as priority IP service, but it feels like a annoying way to milk some extra money. Zone labels should be available for the free version... There are other third-party apps that can be used instead if you are tech savy enough.
