Great sand for a hermit crab habitat.

Super easy to add to tank and have kept my childrens hermit crabs way longer then I ever kept mine as a child

Sand is actually terrible for hermit crabs they can get cuts while trying to burrow in it do not use this product

I would not use just this sand for your hermit crabs. But one bag, mix it with an eco soil product. My crabs are nearly four years old and I have been mixing the sand and coconut substrate for that whole time. My crabs seem to thrive in my environment. Also you need the soil substrate to assist in the high humidity that hermit crabs need to survive.

Great moist sand. Only ordered one bag but it was not enough.

I was a little skeptical that this stuff was as good as it looked (you know what they say about that). But all my fears have been laid to rest. My crabs love it, easy to clean, safe, healthy for them. A pinch pricey but totally worth it. A permanent addition to my tank.

Just didn’t like how it was wet

The product holds moisture for the crabs, and they also love to dig and bury into it. It packs and doesn’t make as big of a mess everywhere.

Hermit crab didnt like the sand. It climbed on top of coconut shell and rarely went into this sand.

Good quality sand but very expensive.
