> 3 dayThese are very easy to setup and can handle 15 amps. Ive used them for 750 watt space hearers in the garage gym in Colorado for the mornings on a routine. Alexa integration is super easy. My issue comes with the fulfillment. Ive ordered two 3-packs and twice now Amazon has only sent singles. One of the shipments was clearly used / open and missing contents. I recommend buying these in person at a hardware store vs from Amazon.

> 3 dayI don’t know if it’s me, because every time I use it to control the light on my phone it creates a “click” sound. Originally, I bought it because my friend has similar stuff at home, i thought it’s convenient. I didn’t hear a click at his house at that time. I really don’t like the sound.

> 3 dayGot this to control a heater panel in the bathroom. As expected, it was very easy to set up and seamlessly connected to the Echo Dot ~10 ft away in the bedroom. Only dinging it a star because there is a very infrequent connection drop that’s probably due to limitations of Bluetooth (and usually resolves itself quickly), but still annoying when it happens.

> 3 dayThis is one of the only 5g smart plugs I could find, and I am pleased to say that it works! It sometimes has some trouble with Alexa, but 90% of the time it works great. Even if it is having problems with Alexa, it always works through the app.

> 3 dayThis is the plug that you want if you’re replacing a Philips hue that suddenly quit working. This one does not require any extra apps or hubs. just plug it in open Google Home or nest do the add device procedure and Bam! It’s there! I wish it had the dimmer function though.

Greater than one weekNot quite as easy to install as the Amazon branded plug, but pretty darn easily with the GE app. Only a few extra steps. If you are looking for a more economical plug that is relatively easy to connect to Alexa, this is a good one. Using the advice of Amazon technical support, always get a plug made by the same company as the app as opposed to needing a third-party app.

31-03-2025This device does not require an additional hub to interface with your home wifi. The Cync app is easy to setup and the device seems to have good WiFi range. Should you move your device to another outlet, the app recognizes the plug once it is plugged in again.
