> 24 hourI used the product exactly according to the directions on brand new 100 percent cotton Kuhl shorts and pants and shorts from Fresh Produce, and a top from a boutique store, all 100 percent cotton expensive clothes, not Walmart or Target (maybe would have been better off) and they bled like crazy with rinsing after and then after hand washing them in cool water with detergent for colored items, they continue to bleed after every wash. Dont waste your time and money on these two Retayne dye fixative products. Buy another brand. The company doesnt stand behind their products telling me they never had one complaint in 30 years, ha. And she said the warranty is for 30 days. Ridiculous. It shouldnt matter when or where it was purchased. I bought it and didnt even use it for several months or more. If it doesnt work it, no matter when you bought it or where, and you have had zero complaints, then refund the one customer in thirty years who had complained. The co-owner was very condescending and defensive. Never again.

> 24 hourRetayne is what every quilter should have in her toolbox to prevent color bleeds when a quilt goes in the wash. I tried the color sheets first and then had a serious red bleed that nearly ruined my quilt. I switched to Retayne and have not had a single problem since. Use it in your first, or even second wash if there are bleeding fabrics in your project, and youll be so glad you did. Definitely recommend!!

> 24 hourI had a quilt that was bright colors and white. After testing a corner, I knew the colors would bleed. I used Retayne and the colors stayed fixed. It even took out some of the staining on my test corner, An amazing product!

> 24 hourThis was just what I needed to stop the red fabric I wanted to bind my quilt with from bleeding. I highly recommend it to everyone ... especially quilters... who use scrap fabrics of unknown origin in their quilts. Because reds are known to bleed I tested my scrap first and was frustrated that even after several washes it stillbled. One use of Retayne and the bleeding stopped!

> 24 hourDoesnt work. The color washes out continually with each load. I followed the manufacturers instruction for treatment. What it does do is keep the fabric or materials from absorbing water so it acts more is a water repellent than it does to keep the clothes from fading on to other items. Blue towels and washcloths made everything blue around it. I follow the directions completely and even tried to do it a second time and still didnt help the fabric from fading.
