Just a small amount of Retayne will fix dyes in fabric. I use on batiks for quilts, reds and other dark colors. Leaves no residue. Does not effect ironing. Company shipped very quickly.

Received product when and as promised and boy does it ever do what it says it does!

This requires 140F water for hand treatment. My water heater, after adjustment, can only hit 130F. My washer can hit it, but the product specifically says if you have a High Efficiency machine you need to hand treat. So basically, I wasted $15.

Works great

I followed the directions carefully and used it on two pairs of blue jeans. After I used the product, the jeans still bled blue dye. I repeated the process after the first go-round as some of the other reviews recommended. Both pair of jeans still bleed as much as they did before I started. Maybe this stuff works better for certain kinds of dyes, but as far as Im concerned, its USELESS.

I am a basket weaver and dye my own reed. This is fantastic for setting the color and my dyed reed never bleeds.

Used this product on a set of high quality Red towels, I had already washed 5 times, tired the vinegar and salt routine with no success. AND IT WORKED!
