My wife bought this to take with us on our trip to Maui since we would be doing lots of beach, hiking and road trips. This is a life changer, our 2-1/2 year daughter who is potty trained made a good use of it. Didnt have to stop and use the bathroom at any store. I must say you have to order the bags separately because it doesnt come with it. Our trip was so smooth thanks to this potty travel toilet

This is my best potty training purchase hands down. Any time we go for a walk, I throw it in the stroller and we are never scrambling to find a bathroom in time. Ive even used it in the car when I dont want to drag both my children into a public restroom. Pull over the car and let him potty right in the back. I bought extra liners since the potty only comes with a few. They absorb nicely and tie up and toss! Easy peasy! Not to mention the fact that my own potty is a hundred times cleaner than the facilities at a supermarket, restaurant or park. At the park I usually set it up behind the stroller, my son pees and is back to playing in seconds! One of the toughest things about potty training is that kids dont want to remove themselves from the fun to go use the bathroom and thats how accidents happen. Thanks to this potty we have been accident free everytime we leave the house.

This potty seat has been amazing. While potty training my kids, I took it with us on errands, car trips and field trips and saved us more times than I could count. Later we put it in the back of the car for any emergencies while out and about. I’d ask if they needed to go potty before going into stores or restaurants and spared us the “tour of all public restrooms” as they learned how to potty train. I can’t recommend enough.

This is one of those special child items that has truly made a difference in our lives. I live in NYC and dont have a car which makes outings with a potty-training toddler very stressful. The Potette Plus folds compactly and easily fits into my backpack so it is always with me. Using it as a toilet ring is super-simple but using this as an actual potty is what really impresses me. My daughter has used this potty in a soccer field, playground and even on a farm! No more worries about finding a toilet because we always have one with us. My only criticism is that snapping the sides into place takes a little practice. If you dont do this then the sides/legs will not be sturdy but once you get the hang of it the seat is easy to assemble and very secure. I highly recommend practicing at home before using this outside). I really love this item.

I purchased this after my 3yo complained that the quad-fold travel seat felt like a crab is pinching [her] bottom. Im really impressed with how sturdy and nonslip the seat is on a public restroom toilet. Ive used it also as an emergency potty with one of the bags underneath. I thought the pad inside would hold more urine than it does, but really it ended up being a hot bag of pee. For emergency potty use, Im instead using old plastic grocery bags with extra diapers shes outgrown inside to soak up anything. But all in all, a really great, sturdy solution for going in public with your newly potty-trained kid. It fits easily in her diaper bag and comes with its own carrying case.

What a great portable potty! We are still in the process of potty training and this is an invaluable tool! I love how it can easily transport (even comes with a bag to carry it in) and how the potty bags have an absorbent bottom to them. Makes for easier clean up on the go! The potty legs also flatten out do you are able to place it on a toilet if you are out (I also love to use the disposable potty shields ... Sold seperately) The cons: Only comes with a few disposable bags (more are available for purchase) and it is a little short for my tall trainee. Other than that, awesome product and I highly recommend!

We were going on vacation a couple of years ago, right after potty training our son, and wanted to make sure we didnt have any accidents on the road. We were a little nervous, as the area we were going through had long spans of no services, and we (and he) werent comfortable having him make his own facility on the side of the road. My sister-in-law had one of these, and raved about how awesome it was, so we decided to get one. It has really saved us a few times! He ended up it on that trip 3 times, and weve used it as an emergency a few other times as well. I love the little plastic pouch it came with, as it fits the potty and the bags perfectly. I highly recommend getting the extra liners like the ones it comes with, as they are extremely absorbent and dont smell up the car (my son once used it before going into a dinosaur museum in 90 degree weather, and I forgot to grab it to throw away with us. When we came back out 3 hours later, we couldnt even tell!) Its a simple seat that can be placed on a toilet for potty training, or you can pop the legs down and its like a little chair. You have to have the liners to catch everything, but its the perfect size for potty training children, it folds up and down really easily, and stores really nicely (we keep it in our van under the passenger seat for easy access, just in case!) Weve absolutely loved this, and could be more happy with our purchase!

Potty training was a terrifying prospect for me, especially being out and about. At the same time, I didnt want to be stuck at home for weeks/months until my toddler was potty trained. We live quite far from town and that was another fear of mine. So I bought this more for the travel potty use than the trainer seat use. However, on our first excursion out with it, we used it both ways, and it is so useful! Its small enough that it fits easily in my 14x14 wet/dry bag, with extra liners, change of bottoms, wipes, and a cloth diaper for wiping up messes. Its really easy to whip out in the very short amount of time my daughter has between I have to pee!! and actually going. Like at least one other reviewer has said, its important to know that if youre going to use it as a potty, you need to kind of lock the legs into place by pushing them up into the seat part. Then, to fold back up, you just need to carefully pull the legs out one notch. To go from folded up to trainer seat, theres no locking into place necessary. The liners that come with it are really amazing. The absorbent pad holds most if not all of the pee my toddler releases at a time (it claims to hold 5oz) so Im not just carrying around a bag of liquid. At the same time, $10.xx for 30 liners (when my daughter, who is still in the early stages of potty training, can pee 5 times in just a few hours) can get costly. So weve found that the small plastic garbage bags (4 gallon) are much more cost effective. (Our grocery store has a generic pack of 30 for $1.67.) If Im really concerned about the bag of pee, I can throw some paper towels or even a cloth diaper in it. I still plan to buy the Potette Plus liners from time to time as a luxury item, or maybe if were going on a trip where we might not be able to dispose of the bags in a timely manner. =) Ive read that plastic shopping bags like from the grocery store would work well, and I could see that. But I dont know about you, but most of our plastic bags have holes in them, plus now more and more cities are going bag-less anyway, so its nice to know the small garbage bags work, too. Ive never tried any other 2-in-1 type travel potties like this, but Im very, very happy with my purchase.

This has been a lifesaver! Since Covid has closed most public bathrooms, we needed an on the go solution, and this is it! It pops open in a matter of seconds and your toddler is ready to go. The legs also fold out to work as a kid sized seat for full sized toilets. Worth every penny.

Great for short-trips about town. I have a bit of a reluctant potty-trainer in the form of a stubborn 3-year-old boy. But this thing I love. Still small enough to fit in a diaper bag (which I still carry for toys, drinks, snacks, etc.) when we are out and about. I have a skinny little guy, so this is a life-saver in the public restrooms where he would (a) fall in and (b) ew...not on my babys butt please. 2 thumbs up here. I only didnt give it 5 stars because the little humps in the middle are a bit high. But certainly not enough to prevent from buying again.
