Must have for potty training. If you have ever been out with your toddler when he/she has to go potty, but the big potty was just too scary, you will fall in love with this thing. Ended potty training frustration for my family within the first week of having it. Within 2 weeks we were going shopping with no diapers on our 2 year old. Absolutely fabulous, worth every penny to avoid going in and out and in and out of the bathroom ten times and ending up still having to change a diaper! Easy to click into place as a pretty stable reducer. Havent used it as a stand alone potty, but it was sturdy enough for our daughter to sit on in that setting for practice when we first got it. She loves it, it is great to see how proud she is of going on the potty. Highly recommend getting this to help your potty training dreams come true!

The Potette is great for emergencies! Sometimes my toddler only gives me a 30 seconds heads up when he has to go. I pull out the Potette (with bag already in it ready to go) and he does his business. Its great and convenient. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it would have been nice if it were a little bigger. Sometimes my son pees on his own pants when he goes on the potty.

I purchase this for my 2 year old to avoid using the public bathrooms and bring it over to grand parents place since she refused to go to the adults toilets. Love the concept, but found quite a few flaws that i didnt expect. Height: The height of this potty is shorter than the normal potty, about 3/4 of its normal height. My daughter didnt mind squatting. Shape: The opening is wider than typical potties. Since the height is short, with squatting and a bigger opening for the seat makes her butt cheeks go lower and closer to the bottom which can potentially touching her own pee if the plastic bag is not laid flat. Biggest con: The UN-snapping of the legs for the potty. As you can see from the video of the product page, the legs needs to be snapped in (or up to the seat) in order to secure the potty seat - which was easy and quick enough. I can handle it when my daughter had to go right now. Then it comes the un-snapping part where im supposed to pull the legs out/down a little bit, then fold back (basically reverse your process when you snap the legs out to secure it) I have SUCH a TOUGH time pulling the legs out to fold back, when i did, the whole leg came out! I was trying to see if i did anything wrong but base on how its snapped, i dont think theres a smooth sliding back to fold the legs. Theres no way i will be able to handle this in the public bathrooms. Ive tried it a few times, the whole leg kept on coming out. If i control my strength to pull it out, i had to bascially hug the potty on my clean clothes in order to pull the legs out properly. I think this is good for either just stand alone potty or a stand alone toilet seat. Changing from closed to toilet seat and vice versa takes a second, changing from closed to potty take about 10 seconds, but changing from potty back to closed takes forever! When youre in the public, you really dont have that kind of time in a small space bathroom stall with a kid on your side, the dirty toilet, baby bag, and all those jackets in the winter time plus the whole nine yard with the cleaning after a bathroom trip!

By far a great purchase! I usually dont rate things high but this product is wonderful. My son refused to go on any toilet at all unless it had a seat. Well I cant just tote around those bigger type seats so I tried to find something I could take with me. I got the seat in a good time and took it rt away to the store.it came with a bag that I just added a small pack of lysol wipes on the outside of for cleaning. My son had no problems with it and went rt away. For him thats great. We went from 20 min bathroom trips telling him the toilet is ok and holding him trying not to move him to 5 min normal in and out trips. I can also use it on trips if we are not where a bathroom is cus it snaps jn place to be sat on the floor. The only problem I could see someone having is if the child is big the seat sits close to the ground when locked in that position. That may be a problem but I definitely wouldnt make that a reason not to get it. If h want something to travel with or just for the store like me this is great. By far the best seat!

Wow, I wish I would have ordered this sooner (before I started potty training). Its perfect for on the go and at home. I bought a really cute sesame street potty seat that sings from walmart, and over time it really started to smell. Even thought I was constantly cleaning it. Long story short we only use the potette now. The only issue I have had with it is sometimes when you are trying to collapse it from the standing potty position the legs pop off. Maybe its because I am in a hurry and trying to collapse it fast, but you can just pop them back into place. My son doesnt like going potty in the sack. So I am going to try getting on of the reusable liners. For now he uses the potty on the toilet or outside without a bag.

Highly recommend this product! We own two and have been gifting them to family and friends after such a great experience. This potty has saved my entire familys sanity. Mom and dad each have one for their cars/day trips. Great price and quality. I felt like a shut-in with potty training before having this, since many parks, hiking areas and picnic sites we frequent dont have potties nearby or are only open part of the summer. It has been great for initial potty training when your child cant anticipate accidents well, but can maybe stop the stream briefly to finish up on the potty emergently. It sets up in 2 seconds. Stores completely flat for storage under stroller, or even in a back pack or diaper bag. I was worried that it might be too low to the ground for my daughters liking, but no complaints, perfectly stable as long as you lock/click it into place. Daughter also uses this on public potties so I dont have to worry about her touching the seat or holding her up. The handles are sturdy for her to hold on to. This product is better than any other ring or potty seat on the market from my point of view and the fact that it fits regular and long elongated bowls makes it so useful/versatile. We have traveled with it in airports, camping, works perfect to have a potty up north in rural areas or at friends houses that dont have kids equipment where your child might be staying with. Consider buying the accessory liner for it- we absolutely love it. Prefer using the liner with this product over the bags but both are good in a pinch.

This is the BEST thing to have if you have small kids. My daughter was potty trained on the early side at 19 months. She was always comfortable with using public toilets but where we live, they are few and far between. And when your toddler says they need to go, you dont have time to hunt down a bathroom or make a run for it. We keep this set up in the back of our van (or use it between the rows). Ive never carried it in to use on a regular toilet, even with the travel bag, I just think thats too gross and youll still have to clean it. I double bag plastic grocery bags and keep 2 paper towels folded up inside to soak up the liquid. I keep about 5-6 setups like this at time in the car. There is no mess, its easy, and when they are done, you just wipe, bag it up, and toss. And the price?! Cant beat it. Every family needs one of these!

I have a 2 and half year old girl and this potty has done wonders! I am a stay home mom of two toddlers! My daughter just started potty training 4 weeks ago. She is a little scared of the adult size toilets so I bought this to help her. Since I am a stay home mo I am always running errands and this has worked on every potty out there. I am a freak about germs and this potty allows your Toddler to place their hands on their own potty and not the toilet itself. I am excited about our road trip because if we are at a gas station and its really dirty, all I have to do is use the stand and she can go potty in the bag. You dont need their special bags, just bring small grocery bags with no holes! There is no wrong way to place this product on the toilet. It fits perfect into a diaper bag or a really big purse. Totally worth it. Kalencom 2-in-1 Potette Plus

I recommend this to EVERYONE who tells me they are potty training it is AMAZING and I love that it comes in a plastic reusable bag for sanitary reasons AND it comes with little baggys to go potty in if you are not using over an actual toilet (havent had to use that yet but its a nice option to have) I honestly think this is a lot of the reason that potty training went so smoothly for us! She was trained within a month after turning 2 and in underwear - no nighttime diapers or snythin just straight from diapers to undies. She also can use this herself she can set it up and I can put it away on her stool and it doesnt take up as much space as her little potty we tried did and sh preferred using the big potty.

I have a petite daughter who I potty trained at 22 months. She was too tiny to balance on the seat of the toilet, but with this, she was fine. Also, she puts on her hands on this to steady herself instead of on the toilet seat, which is especially nice in public restrooms. It folds down enough that someone with a big purse could carry it around - I dont, but when my mother-in-law took my daughter on vacation, she used it that way, and found it very useful. I rarely use it with a plastic bag, only when were, say, on a boat without a bathroom. However, you DONT need the special bags for that - any shopping bag without holes in it will be fine, and nursing pads or maxi pads to absorb do the trick.
