> 3 dayThis is one of those, why didn’t I think of that products for me. I have owned one since I started potty training my daughter 5 years ago. We travel quite frequently and usually on long haul flights. This potty has saved my life on many occasions as my daughter almost always needs to ore during descent after the bathrooms are closed. It saved my life while dune bashing in Qatar. There are no bathroom facilities in the desert so I took this potty with me. It fits into a medium sized handbag with ease. I also keep one in my car trunk since my daughter usually needs to pee urgently when we get to the car after pick up. I have also used it in fitting rooms while shopping in the mall ... I’m not giving up my shopping to locate any mall bathroom. My child is now 7 years old and luckily I decided to pack it in my hand luggage on a 16 hour flight because she decided she was claustrophobic when she saw the airplane bathroom. I think EVERY mom should own one of these.

08-04-2025I use this a lot more than I thought I would! My daughter was scared of the big loud potty in stores. This helped ease her into using public potties. She felt more secure and it only took a handful of times using it to make her comfortable. However, I continued to use it because I felt better having her put her hands down on this instead of the nasty public seat. I kept a travel pack of disinfectant wipes in the travel bag and wiped it down each time. Now it stays in the trunk for roadside emergencies. We have used it at parks with no restrooms and once or twice on the side of the road.

> 3 dayIf you have a potty-training toddler, you need this! It has saved us on numerous occasions. Yes, it is a little annoying and awkward to carry and it does take up most of your diaper bag, but its dual purpose is ingenious and you will be so happy that you have it in your bag the first time you avoid almost having an accident. Unfold the flaps, position them straight out (it will click) and youve got a just-my-size toddler potty seat that you can put on top of any regular toilet. Just like the small seat you probably have at home, only maybe a little smaller and less cushy. Using the same seat on top of a different toilet seems to be very reassuring for my daughter and she is now fine going even in strange public bathrooms. And I like knowing that shes not touching the icky public toilet seat. Or you can fold the flaps all the way around, put in a bag (either the ones that they sell especially for this potty, or a regular cheapo plastic grocery bag with a few paper towels in it) and it becomes a little stand-alone potty. This is great if you are at the playground or somewhere where there are no toilets to put the small seat on, or if you are in the car and theres suddenly an emergency. Probably better for the back of an SUV but it even works on the floor of a Toyota Camry (speaking from personal experience). Yes, it is a bit gross to have to throw away the bag of pee but much less disgusting than cleaning wet pants, socks and car seat. This potty is not large -- it is definitely designed for a toddler and probably and average-to small- sized one at that. If you have a big kid, you might want to try out someone elses (is that totally gross?!) or at least take a look at it at a store before purchasing. I have a skinny mini so the size is no problem for us and I like that it is as small as possible because it does fit my diaper bag. Im hoping shell be fully trained soon so I wont be carrying it forever and shell likely still be pretty young and tiny, but I could see keeping it in the car for emergencies when she is older. A mom that I know of a five and a nine-year-old told me she still has one (not sure if is this exact one or a different brand) in her trunk just in case. I did a lot of research on potty seats and didnt see any other products that combine the two functions in such a small package. I would definitely buy this again (although is seems like it will probably hold up through multiple potty-trainers, so I will likely not have to) and have recommended it to all of my potty-training friends.

> 3 dayI bought this so I could have a quick potty chair ready for my son who was learning to potty train. This seat has proven itself indispensable. It has worked amazing in the back of our Tahoe and mini-van for when those urgent needs arise and there is no bathroom in sight. The little bags that you use hold a lot of liquid and waste. My son is 4 years old and is 44 in. tall and weighs 36 lbs and he still uses it as a free-standing potty chair if needed when were on long road trips. We mostly use it now as a toilet ring to put on a standard toilet when using public restrooms or at someones house, as my son still doesnt like the size of the standard toilet opening. We just keep it folded up in the bag in which it came and carry it in his backpack. I absolutely love this thing and will be using it for my daughter as well. (I can also speak from experience that it does hold the weight of a 56, 130 lb woman...with absolutely no issues. It has been a life-saver!!!)

> 3 dayWonderful product. Wish I had invented these. They work great and are so compact and easy to store. We have one in each car. We use ours mostly on camping trips. But, theyve also come in handy when we are on the road and one of the kids is screaming I have to go potty now. We dont have to search for a rest stop. We can just pull over in a safe spot and let them use the Potette. Both my kids, ages 4 years (37 pounds) and 7 years (54 pounds) can use this comfortably. I buy the companys liners because they fit well and dont leak. But, I know of some folks who use grocery bags, often doubling up to prevent leaks. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayThe Potette is great for emergencies! Sometimes my toddler only gives me a 30 seconds heads up when he has to go. I pull out the Potette (with bag already in it ready to go) and he does his business. Its great and convenient. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it would have been nice if it were a little bigger. Sometimes my son pees on his own pants when he goes on the potty.

> 3 dayAfter my two-year-old sons first successful poop at the park yesterday, this potty is my new best friend. Weve been casually potty learning for the last few weeks (child-led, and going surprisingly well), but I havent been super excited about him wearing underwear on all our outings. We live in a mostly urban area, where we walk a lot and public parks dont have restrooms anywhere nearby. Many stores and restaurants also dont have public restrooms. But I figured I better just take the plunge, and why not just bring a potty along with me? This thing has been a lifesaver. I let my son pick the color, so he was excited when it showed up on our doorstep. For the first few days, he even wanted to use it at home instead of using his toddler froggy potty. He previously had no interest in using the regular toilet (the seat is just so big!), but this has helped him convert to it at home and in public restrooms. I now keep the travel potty in my stroller, so we can quickly whip it out at the park or on a walk. Ive used plastic grocery bags and have had no problems. If youre one of the users who feels the potty is unsteady when its on the ground, make sure youve snapped the legs firmly into place. It took me a minute to figure this out, but once they were securely snapped the potty was as sturdy as it needs to be.

> 3 dayThis is an ingenious little travel potty that can be converted from a freestanding potty, to a seat for a regular toilet. It is a little tricky to get the legs to flip up or down, but once you get it, it isnt hard. As a potty seat on a toilet, it doesnt work very well because it slips around too much for the child to feel secure. It is a great size for travel, though, because its nice and small. The travel bag is just a heavy duty plastic drawstring bag, though. It is hard to get the liners to stay in place, and they dont seem very absorbent for large amounts of urine. The liners are sold separately, but you could probably take a regular plastic shopping bag, put some absorbent material in it and use that instead.

> 3 dayHighly recommend this product! We own two and have been gifting them to family and friends after such a great experience. This potty has saved my entire familys sanity. Mom and dad each have one for their cars/day trips. Great price and quality. I felt like a shut-in with potty training before having this, since many parks, hiking areas and picnic sites we frequent dont have potties nearby or are only open part of the summer. It has been great for initial potty training when your child cant anticipate accidents well, but can maybe stop the stream briefly to finish up on the potty emergently. It sets up in 2 seconds. Stores completely flat for storage under stroller, or even in a back pack or diaper bag. I was worried that it might be too low to the ground for my daughters liking, but no complaints, perfectly stable as long as you lock/click it into place. Daughter also uses this on public potties so I dont have to worry about her touching the seat or holding her up. The handles are sturdy for her to hold on to. This product is better than any other ring or potty seat on the market from my point of view and the fact that it fits regular and long elongated bowls makes it so useful/versatile. We have traveled with it in airports, camping, works perfect to have a potty up north in rural areas or at friends houses that dont have kids equipment where your child might be staying with. Consider buying the accessory liner for it- we absolutely love it. Prefer using the liner with this product over the bags but both are good in a pinch.

> 3 dayOnce my son was potty trained in the house and we started to go on outings without pull-ups, I knew we were going to need to have an easy-access potty in the car I actually traveled with the bijorn potty a few times (not a great idea.) One day I saw a mom friend pull out a Potette for her daughter during a stroller workout at the park. It was so compact and easy, I knew I had to get one. So far it hasnt failed me (except the first time I used it without reading the instructions first and didnt click the legs in place and it collapsed as soon as my son sat on it. Whoops...user error...) Weve used this for long road trips, birthday parties hosted at parks where the bathrooms were far away or just plain filthy dirty, going on a hike, and at the beach. It lives in our car, tucked in its baggy, and behind a box of Kleenex. I seriously dont know why anyone with young children wouldnt have one of these! ***Seems like a lot of the negative reviews are from those who failed to lock the legs into the seat. This takes a little finesse: You need quite a bit of pressure to pop the legs in, and just the right amount of pressure to unlock and fold back in. If you pull too hard, the legs just come detached. Best advice is to practice set-up and take-down a few times before needing to use it.***
