> 3 dayThis potty seat has been amazing. While potty training my kids, I took it with us on errands, car trips and field trips and saved us more times than I could count. Later we put it in the back of the car for any emergencies while out and about. I’d ask if they needed to go potty before going into stores or restaurants and spared us the “tour of all public restrooms” as they learned how to potty train. I can’t recommend enough.

> 3 dayMy kid loves it. Easy to use. Very portable. Well worth the price. I took off one star because when you have to pull the legs out to fold them back up, many times I end up pulling the entire leg off the who contraption. I am not a super strong person but the hinge, as is the entire contraption, is basically just a medium-density plastic and since you only have to pull it out about 1/4, it is super easy to pull it a tad too far. Then you have to snap it back in. This is perhaps all irrelevant once you get the hang of it and be a little more careful and steady as you disengage the legs a little, but when you have a 2yo running off, the last thing you have time to do is to concentrate on carefully snapping the legs back out. I would reconsider the design around this small issue. It doesnt cost much to make these things.

> 3 dayIf you have ever told your kids several times to use the bathroom before you leave the house and then as soon as you start your car journey, they need to pee badly!! Well, this is for you!!! You dont have to wait until you find a bathroom (and lets face it, public bathrooms you find on the side of the road are not the best!) No danger of Hep C with this little bad boy! Just pull off where it is safe to do so, grab the potty (if you are smart and prepared, you will have the bag in it already) and plonk your kid on top of it! Just beware that if you skimp and use general trash bags, instead of paying through the nose for the bags with pads in them.... Make sure they dont have holes in. Esp if using in the trunk or back seat of your car! This can make other car guests uncomfortable!

Greater than one weekIf your kiddo is learning to use the potty, or will be, or learned recently and still has potty emergencies or you have a baby and would like to use fewer diapers, this is a worthwhile investment! Id heard great things about this potty from parents who practice elimination communication with their babies, and from parents who had walked with a toddler through potty learning. But I honestly thought it was probably an extra thing that I didnt need.... Until I was planning an overseas trip with a new potty learner. I needed a potty that I could take and use just about anywhere. On a bus, on the side of the road, in our hotel room, in places without running water. This was all that, and more. What I love about this is how versatile it is. You can use it as a seat reducer on a regular toilet. You can use it with a plastic bag on the go. You can get the reusable silicone liner and use it as a regular potty chair (which is how we use it most). It worked like a champ on our overseas trip. It fit in kiddos Trunki suitcase as our carry-on. It was kiddos primary potty in our hotel room, and traveled with us to our work sites and pretty much everywhere. And it proved plenty useful at home as well. It goes to grandmas house, the babysitters house, church. It stays in the back of the car for playground or road-trip emergencies. When kiddo refused to use the outhouse at the Amish market, I just stuck him on the Potette in the hatch of the car. Problem solved. (To be fair, the outhouse WAS kind of scary)

> 3 dayMy daughter is on the petite side and she will not go potty on a public potty because she feels like she is going to fall in. However, she has no trouble going when we use the Potette Plus! We have taken it with us on every outing and on visits to the grandparents houses! We havent used it as a stand-alone but its been amazing helping her go on big potties away from home! Highly recommend it!! EDIT: We have been using this thing for nearly six months now and it has not once failed to fit a potty that weve put it on. And today was the first time I have had to use it as a stand-alone when the park restrooms were locked (UGH!!) and I had to rush to get it set up in the trunk of the SUV. It took me all of 20 seconds to set it up with some plastic grocery bags into a stand-alone potty and get my daughter on it. Thankful for the option that this can work with a toilet or without. Cant say enough good things about this!!

> 3 dayWhen I started potty training my son I was looking for disposable potty seat covers to keep in the diaper bag. Luckily, I stumbled upon this seat before I wasted my money on those. I cannot say enough good things about this seat and I recommend it to all of my friends potty training their kids. It folds up nicely and fits well in all of my diaper bags. Im not saying its tiny. In fact, I actually thought it was going to be smaller. I now appreciate its size, though, because the seat itself doesnt have to fold so there are no seams to pinch his bottom. Some reviewers have said its too small, but my 2 1/2 year old son is 33 pounds and fits just fine. Ive used the seat both ways and its great! We used it as its own seat on the beach and at the pool both with the bags it comes with and with a grocery bag. Both ways work great. I keep Clorox wipes in the bag that comes with it to wipe the seat down when hes done. Its quick and easy! Its also extremely sturdy. I have no doubt that it will last for my second son. We dont leave home without this seat. It makes my son much more comfortable going potty when were out and I dont have to hold him on!

> 3 dayI use this a lot more than I thought I would! My daughter was scared of the big loud potty in stores. This helped ease her into using public potties. She felt more secure and it only took a handful of times using it to make her comfortable. However, I continued to use it because I felt better having her put her hands down on this instead of the nasty public seat. I kept a travel pack of disinfectant wipes in the travel bag and wiped it down each time. Now it stays in the trunk for roadside emergencies. We have used it at parks with no restrooms and once or twice on the side of the road.

> 3 dayAre you kidding me? How did I not know about this sooner? We were at a swim lesson with our two kids when nature called. No restroom available the instructor whips out this portable potty and saves the day. Five years into parenting this would have been INVALUABLE on road trips and for an as-needed purpose when restroom lines are too long for a toddlers bladder. Now on my MUST list for all my parent friends who are potty training or have little kids. Thank you Kalencom! From this Aerospace Engineer father: Design win!

> 3 dayI LOVE this potette plus!!! I received it in the mail Thursday, left for a trip Friday. It paid for itself in the first 2-3 hours of the trip!! We had a 7 hour car ride with my almost 2 year old. Hes potty trained and refuses to pee in a diaper. When he said he had to pee, we just put the bag in, set it on the seat and he went pee and poop!!! Sitting right on the seat, NO LEAKS, NO MESS!!! I was so excited, it is only a bonus that it sits on the top of a big toilet also. Even if it didnt do that I would recommend this product to everyone who is potty training!!! BUY IT, dont hesitate, you wont be sorry!!

Greater than one weekI have had this potette for a few moths now and have used it quite a few times. I keep it in my car since it folds up and comes with the plastic storage bag. The seat is very very hard and quite uncomfortable for my 3 year olds little bottom, She refused to use it the first two months because it hurt her bottom. I think after her growth spurt she acquired a little more cushion on her bottom, making it slightly more comfortable. It is very compact, which is good, but putting it in the sitting potty position and getting the bag around it before your child pees herself can be a challenge. There have been a few times that i was unable to get the leg part of it snapped in place in time and had to hold it steady myself. Folding it back up is challenging as well as I have pulled the leg things off completely. I thought I broke it but it snaps back in place if you apply force. I did take the advice of other reviewers and made my own potty bags. I use regular plastic grocery bags and instead of a diaper or maxi pad I use puppy training pads cut into large rectangles. Not once has there been an incident of pee going anywhere but the pad. This potette is better than most, I would of just made the seat softer and the legs easier to use, I did try this as a potty seat as well in a public restroom and it is easier to not use it. The seat is just too small for public toilets and my child did not feel very secure. Am I glad I bought it? Yes, only because I can keep it in my car and my child can go potty right there on the floor behind drivers seat in a 2 door Monte Carlo, and then I can fold it up and slip it under the seat completely out of sight.
