> 3 dayI use this for firewood mostly and getting the flat sensor pad in contact with a log can be difficult sometimes but it is still more convenient than the prong type. I can take 4 or 5 readings from a log in the same time I could have taken 1 with prong meter. Accurate enough for my needs but Im just confirming wood is below 20%.

> 3 dayUpdate: numbers began fluctuating and I went to return the item but accidentally sent a $400 Wagner Orion meter instead. Klein accepted the item that wasnt theirs and refunded me $40. Now Im trying to deal with Amazon to get this sorted out and get my refund corrected for the other$360. I compared this meters results to the flir meter used by my remediation guy. The numbers were very close. Now I have a meter that will show me when the dehumidifiers and fans have done their jobs. A point off because it doesnt have as many material types that others do. Will come back if anything goes wrong.

> 3 dayFor the first delivery received, the Digital Moisture Meter kept shorting out. I returned the items and received replacement (for all three items). For the second delivery, the Non-Contact Voltage Tester did not work. The GFCI Outlet Tester was fine. At least two of the three work now, so Ill hold on to them. I would recommend going with something of higher quality. If it happened to me with both shipments, theres no doubt that this is happening to a lot of people who purchased these items.

> 3 dayIt works well and fast. The display is bright and very readable. The reading seems very reproducible. I am not able to check its absolute accuracy, but a relative comparison with dry area is usually sufficient. The audio beep and bright bar graph both make it easy to quickly determine if there is a problem. I was able to see the reading go down steadily over days as the wood dried out. It feels well made and is easy to use. The one downside is that it takes a screw drive to change the battery, which is inconvenient when I remove the battery for storage.

> 3 dayBought this tool after the Texas Winter Storm in Feb 2021 that caused a burst pipe and flooding in the storage room below. With most plumbers booked until mid May, this tool helped me figure out which part of drywall was wet. Then I removed the drywall and used it to check the stud bays and sheathing. Sometimes on the surface, the material feels dry, but this device is able to distinguish the ones with higher %MC. Would highly recommend for DIYer or anyone trying to check for a leak behind walls. The battery isnt too great and lasted for about 4 hours of total usage (10 mins of checking per day over 3 weeks). IDK what the right expectation should be though

> 3 dayI have done water damage for years, I bought this as a personal back up. It is easy to work but done tons I get different readings I think it depends on the battery level. However it has gotten me through real life situations and I recommend for the competitive price as a back up.

> 3 dayWould like not to select material since I only work with hardwoods but that’s my only slight crittisism.

> 3 dayThey made a very easy to use, reliable moisture meter. I am a hobby wood worker that needs to know moister content of varying thickness of hardwood and softwood and this worked great. The user interface is great. This is recommended over the “pin” type meters because it reads deeper and doesn’t make holes in the wood. Just be sure when using thinner boards to not stack them on other boards or materials as this can throw the reading off.
