> 3 dayThe Norton 360 was a challenge to install on my I-MAC. You never know what is next, items pop up with no explanation. Any instruction on line is difficult to understand and then to put the software to use on my MaC. I am not sure if I have installed it correctly. Items pop up for me to add additional whatever and obviously adds to costs. To be fair I am not a tech person, however I am reasonably intelligent, but this software was a mystery and you did not know what would pop up next. The lead you to believe that it is an easy install - but it is not.

Greater than one weekI have used Norton for many years. Found their product to do good job in preventing virus attacks. The only thing to remember is if you already have Norton on your computer to wait until it is nearly expired as using the new one will prevent you from using any days left on your old program. To simplify installation know your account settings in Norton and password. Delete old program from system. Follow instructions to download new one and you will be up and running in about 15 minutes. You will have to have a credit card on your Norton account for auto renewal to activate this but you can cancel that out once downloaded to your computer. Suggest noting this in your calendar to remind you about 45 days out from expiration of program. They will send you renewal notice via e mail wanting you to renew. Be sure to check the price on it as sometimes it is cheaper than the cost of this program. You would need to follow same for each devise you license.

Greater than one weekYou do get bombarded with ads for other products the company try’s to sell you. No way to turn off the ads. Norten makes no mention of this, it gets annoying and over use the fear factor! Shame on Norten!

> 3 dayIve never used any anti-virus product except Norton but I will never buy another Norton product ever again. They do nothing but spam you to death. I wanted no contact with the vendor at all other than automatic updates which is why I went to Amazon in the first place. All I wanted is a product to keep malware off my computer and not be bothered to death with emails from the vendor. This is not a vitamin. I dont need one a day. I did not know I was purchasing spam. They should not need any financial information from me period since I did not buy the product directly from them. I went to Amazon in the first place to avoid contact with vendors. Emails offering 15 month subscription if I will select auto renew. Unselecting auto-renew apparently wasnt enough of a hint. Please I will find another product when this one expires after 12 months. I want nothing to do with this company ever again.

Greater than one weekMy existing subscription expired in a month so I bought this expecting it to be added on to my existing coverage. It was not. I started by adding this new key into my PC apps subscription renewal screen. Norton then said I need to answer some questions before it could be registered and gave me a link to Norton site. There, I re-entered KEY and it finally added the subscription, but as new & separate. So I now have two overlapping subscriptions for about 5 weeks. If I called their agent might be able to merge them but its a hassle to call and finally reach a person... then I might fail... not worth the bother. So, if youre in the same situation, my advice is to WAIT to do a renewal with this new key until a few days before your EXISTING subscription expires. Also, Norton now seems to allow you to extend an existing subscription for a lower cost if you cancel auto-renewal and give reason of price to high. This generated a Renew Now for $14.99 for next year (but then enormous price for following years). Maybe do this each year to retain an affordable price??? Finally, I also got redirected to a Norton page saying the software wasnt compatible with my PC OS, which is Win 11. But Ive been running on Win 11 for a few weeks now. So thats also confusing. The Norton company is not very customer friendly.

> 3 dayI have two Macs. One with intel and one with the M1 chip. The computer with the Intel chip starting freezing up frequently when I installed Norton and once I deleted Norton the freezing stopped. No problems on the Mac with the M1 chip. Dont see many others complaining about freezing up but it definitely happened with me. Also the firewall setup is messy. On both computers even after I say Dont Ask Again, I continue to get pop ups. Also with the firewall many of my applications are listed so that I cant whitelist them in advance. I tried reinstalling and all that wants to install is the VPN. It may be good at antivirus and malware but otherwise it is just a pain.

Greater than one weekSubscription renewed automatically at $103.00. My fault for not disabling Auto-Renew, but I never received an advance notice for bank account debit. I checked Spam folder and it was not there. My checking account was overdrawn. You cannot simply ask for a credit. Someone overseas argued with me for a while, then tried to sell me another less expensive subscription. I repeated cancel, cancel, cancel, and finally I got my credit. I was on the phone for 30 min, first trying to reach someone, then fighting with the Customer Service rep. What a pain, I do not recommend this product due to the sad customer support.
