I installed the software on three different operating systems with three different versions of Windows - Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10. For Windows 7, when the software download completed, it had trouble connecting to the Norton system. After clicking retry 3 or 4 times, it finally connected to the Norton website and completed the installation. The software can create a load on Windows 7, slowing down the system to a screeching halt. Even though the scan was cancelled, it seems to continue running in the background. The Windows 8 and 10 systems run better with the software. My one dislike is the fact that even though the Norton version I paid for through Amazon came with a key code, I was still required to enter my credit card information to proceed with the first download, allowing an automatic renewal of the software when it expires. I have enabled the option to shut off automatic renewal, as there is no indication of what the renewal price will be. I like the option to customize a daily scan time at 2am on one computer, and 3am on the other two computers. I hope this software is effective in blocking viruses and ransomware on my computers.

I was sent a code to install this. When I tried to install it Norton said it couldnt so they had someone on line help.They took over my computer and told me I needed to clean my computer and it would cost another 120.I said okay so computer was supposedly clean,and norton was installed.This whole time I thought I was dealing with Norton but it was someone else. Within hours my computer crashed twice. I did a scan and was told I had thousands of errors.I called Norton and was told they didnt clean my computer.I called Amazon and all they would do was refund the 31 for the Norton 360. So dont get this unless you dont mind paying an extra 120 and now I need my computer checked too.

You cannot buy this product without automatic subscription renewal. You mus activate the product and the opt out of automatic subscription renewal.

Dont sign up for the auto renewal. May save time but costs market value. Better off looking for a deal on Amazon for 1/4 the price. Originally had the AV and they kept replacing with 360 program. I didnt need all that was offered, just an anti virus program. Tech support is non-existent unless you know where to find it. Then good luck.

Have used Norton Security virus protection for many years. Renew every year. Glad to see with Lifelock now.

Though I had other installations available from a prior purchase, I installed a prior version and what should have been a full year, was only 15 days. Good product, but not happy about that. Much easier to uninstall the old version completely before installing new.
