12-04-2025Pros & Cons at bottom of post I am surprised that this robot vacuum found dirt to pick up after I used my normal push vacuum. It decided it was time to head back to the base at 16% battery. I was VERY impressed with how much it picked up on a light traffic floor of the house with 1 cat. While it will go over coax cable, make sure to pick up any unsecured cables on the floor. It managed to untangle itself several times due to my laziness and curiosity of how it would handle different obstacles. Also, a 2 meter long CVS receipt *almost* managed to clog it. However, the little vacuum kept going. Receipt trailing behind. The app is simple and easy to use. I use the carpet boost option, as it will be going from tile to carpet. My personal opinion, max suction is a waste of battery for hard floors; yet great for my low & medium length carpets. I fully charged the vacuum before use (as the instructions state to do). It took around 4.5 hours for a full charge from 16% battery. Pros: Great suction, works on pet hair, good run time, determined when stuck & can untangle itself, app works well, notifications on my phone, vacuums efficiently by mapping the floor, doesnt fall down stairs, respects (magnetic strip) boundaries, no issues going from carpet to tile to an area rug, easy empty dust bin, includes a brush/hair cutting tool built in, and not too loud. Cons: Will wedge itself under some 3 spaces (sofa, table, chair) and become stuck (but easily fixed with a magnetic boundary), the cat doesnt ride on it like Ive seen in those adorable videos, the app has a location access nag screen (but the app can still be used without enabling location)

Tikom Robot Vacuum
14-04-2025I love this vacuum! I have two dogs and I run it once a day to help keep up with the dirt and hair. Works like a charm and keep the floors clean all week long.

> 3 dayThis product is amazing! I still cannot believe how much hair and dust it can pick up. It works perfect on carpets and wooden floors. Definitely recommended!

Greater than one weekI didnt expect much out of this vacuum, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it works on non-carpet flooring. It will go over low pile area rugs but doesnt really get the dog hair off. It doesnt do well on thicker or shaggy carpeting at all. I only use the mopping feature as a means to reduce dust, not to actually clean the floors. The water tank is very small. The brushes are long so they get along the baseboards well. Worth the money for sure!

> 3 dayThe unit itself worked ok for a week or so. Mapping function is unimpressive, but it was nice to be able to use the Wi-Fi to start it remotely. It was also nice to control the suction power and some other features remotely. After the first week, the unit would stop working and state the main brush was stuck. When inspected, there would be no obstruction. With a simple push of a button, the unit would then run again for a 10-20 minutes before repeating the issue. No amount of cleaning or disassembly could fix it. To be clear, the unit would encounter this problem in the middle of hardwood floor. The mopping function seemed gimmicky-you can only use water and the tank is small. I doubt anyone would purchase this for that function, in any event. It did not seem smart. My old unit would bounce around and eventually clean a good amount of floor space, I never expected it to clean the entire floor. This unit spent more time going over the same area again and again. It did not seem to be learning from its tracks. As a positive, and when working, it did seem to pick up a lot of hair and debris. I ended up returning it.

> 3 dayMy house has been constantly clean due to this robot vacuum. It is a lifesaver. However, the mopping pad is too thin to mop well. Because I love the vacuum suctioning power, Im not returning it. Instead, I bought an Irobot M6 that specializes only in mopping.

> 3 dayIf replacement parts were easy to purchase this thing would be 5 stars. Long battery life and easy to take apart and clean. For the price you aren’t going to find a better robot vacuum.

Greater than one weekI confirm that Tikom is the best robotic vacuum cleaner and I am glad that I did not make a mistake when I bought it. He finds garbage even in a clean room, perfectly cleans the house and washes it. Before that, we had a Robot for 2 years, it did not work badly, but this Tikon is my favorite and assistant. I love quality things, not cheap ones, I enjoy interacting with them. I advise everyone to buy only Tikom, this is the best vacuum cleaner and you will be very pleased with it.

> 3 dayWith six kids and three dogs my floor is always dirty! I like the idea of daily sweeping, but with our schedule that is not reality. I was against the idea of a robot vacuum as I have never hired anyone to clean my house and considered it a luxury. I bought because the price point was amazing. I had no idea what to expect, but I am thrilled with the purchase. Andrew (I have no idea why my 12 yo named him Andrew) gets more dog hair and dirt than you can get with a broom. He gets in nooks and crannies very well. I start the cycle when we head to bed and wake up with a clean floor. I also run the mop part every night. In the morning the dirt bin is full and the water is empty. I still mop with my shark once a week as we bring in a lot of dirt. It is an easy mop as there is no dirt. It has gotten used to our downstairs and is more efficient than at the beginning. I brought it upstairs and was surprised it worked up there too - I guess I thought it would just have memory for one floor. Upstairs gets swept and mopped once a week. I have two bedrooms with carpet. It picked up dog hair and maybe some dirt. It got stuck under a dresser drawer and a trundle bed - I am guessing that the carpet makes it easier to get stuck?? It is amazing on my hardwood and the bathroom tile.
