Greater than one weekI usually dont take the time to write reviews as Im too busy, but this time is different. I ordered this little compressor because my friend had one and loved it. He said he was going around looking for things to nail at his house just so he could use his compressor. I know SENCO is a great brand and being an upholsterer, I have used their staple guns and know they are good. This compressor is light as a feather and can be moved around easily. I drive finishing nails as well as long staples with this little machine. When I first got it I filled it with air and then unplugged it for the weekend. When I came in on Monday morning it was still full and the needle on the gauge had not moved. It held air all weekend. My big compressor just doesnt do that. This little machine is the quietest compressor I have ever heard. It doesnt make you jump every time it switches on. Thumbs up for this tool!

Greater than one weekLooove this little compressor. Its very lightweight and small. Takes up a lot less space in my truck than my pancake compressor. It is also very quiet. Sounds like a loud refrigerator or window ac. Not obnoxiously loud like the pancake model. Perfect for my small jobs where its just me working and not needing a large air volume. It will even supply enough air for my framing nailer. It cycles on about every 2nd or 3rd nail when using the framing nailer, less often with a smaller nailer. This is my go to compressor now when Im working alone.

> 3 dayIm a master plumber, and we frequently test plumbing systems with air, usually up to 100lbs. This little guy has the power to pressurize systems bigger than meet the eye, though it does take a little time. Its dang quiet too, that was a surprise. VERY well built, highly recommended.

10-04-2025I wanted a quiet compressor for use with finish & brad nailers that would let me work without the noise bothering my neighbors. This compressor is quiet enough for that purpose. I can have it running in the garage and cannot hear it inside the house with the door closed. Similarly I can have it running in the living room and cannot hear it outside the house with doors and windows closed. Its not as quiet as, say the compressor in your fridge but quiet enough to not draw attention. The nail gun makes a more annoying sound (exhaust puff) than this compressor. I can fire 10 - 14 brads at 75 psi before it will kick back in for about a minute or so. It is well made and feels like a quality product. Ill try to update this after a few months of use this summer. Update 05/06/14 : Used to drive about 1000 brads, fill the car tires. Going strong.

> 3 dayIm a general contractor specializing in finish carpentry and cabinetry. I love this compressor. In fact, I just purchased my third. I suppose I use it harder than it should be used, so Ive burned through a couple of them. But thats over a nine year period. So no. It wont last forever if you use it hard, but it will do the job for several years. And at the price it sells for, its no big deal replacing a dead one. It easily runs a finish nailer or a brad nailer. The turnover time is only okay, and depending on the nail gun I use, I can only get so many shots off before it needs to refill. With a brad nailer I can usually keep shooting while it refills. But look. There is a tradeoff with this puppy. Its light. Really light. Compared to my Emglo, the compressor I used to lug around, its like night and day. (I keep the Emglo in my shop now, most of the time.) Its also quiet. It just hums, really. It also doesnt pull the amps that my Emglo pulls, so I can use it on a long extension cord if I need to. I just have nothing bad to say about this little Senco. There is one important thing to remember, however. Empty the tank when you are finished using it. The only troubles I have had with this compressor have been caused by rust from the tank. So let out the air and the water that condensates on the inside of the tank after each use. Do that and this compressor should last you for years.

> 3 dayI bought this air compressor to fill 29 inch tubeless mountain bike tires. It does the job - just. A sufficient blast of air is needed to seat the tires and this compressor is just able to do the task. I will likely also use the blower to dry off wet chain rings - but I doubt I will use it for much more. Dont expect a large reservoir of air! That being said, it is very light, well built and I do like the compact design. I looked at comparably sized compressors from Craftsman, Porter Cable and Campbell Hausfeld. This unit is much smaller and lighter. On the down side, it comes with no attachments. I would certainly buy it again.

> 3 dayFirst off, let me tell you that I have five compressors and a couple of inflators now and have used many in over thirty years of contracting. This thing is great. After using my buddys I ordered one the next day. This does not take the place of my twin tank Empire unit for framing or heavier trim work, this will not take the place of a shop compressor or job-site unit. However - for a quick trim or repair job with a pinner, narrow crown stapler and even up to my 15ga finish nailer this is just fine. What a joy to carry this instead of a 50-60 pound unit in and out of small jobs. Quiet, quick, light and seems well built. The regulator was sticking for a while but that cleared up and I cracked the gauge glass getting it in and out of the truck so often. Still just keeps on pumping.

> 3 dayThis little gem is one of the best tools in the shop, my co-workers keep borrowing it. When we go out on a job, I grab it with the hose and gun attached and throw it on the seat beside me. We get to the job site and I walk upstairs and start shooting on trim before everyone else can gather their tools. Yeah, it takes awhile for it to get up to pressure and you cant bump nail a big gun with it, but who cares. If I need more air Ill borrow someone elses big heavy two horse job and let them carry the thing around. I shoot staples, 23ga., 18ga. and 15ga. and I use my blower if theres not too much to blow. The homeowners (and I) LOVE it because its so quiet. If it died today Id order another(from Amazon) tonight!

> 3 dayIt is well built, reasonably priced, arrived on time and fairly quiet. For me, I had one specific need and unfortunately it did not work as I had hoped. The reviews led me to believe it could keep up with being used at a low psi output, say 30-50 pounds, enough to feed small nails. I was planning on it being able to go to full capacity 125 psi, spray air at a poundage of 30-50 psi for about 15 seconds, stop spraying and let it build up for 15 seconds, spray some, stop and repeat. The volume of air is only 1 gallon, which I understand, but it takes over a minute to get back to poundage where I could spray 30-50 psi for even a few seconds. The end result for me is that it takes too long to build back up enough pressure to use again as I had planned. Ill keep it because it is well made, lightweight and I might can use it in emergencies where only a very small amount of air is needed at a high psi. Probably would work great for small hobby jobs or non-repetitive type work.

> 3 dayWORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !!!!!!! I bought this compressor in July 2014, I am a professional carpenter and most of my work is building cabinets and furniture in my shop. I used this compressor in the field for about 4 months....very gently might I add...its still in the origional box. The motor/pressure switch went bad on it and I had to take it to an authorized service center to have it repaired under warranty. No Problem right ? Well maybe a little problem. Two authorized service centesr listed on the web page near my home tell me they dont do Senco anymore so I have to keep driving farther and farther. Eventually I get to one that does service Senco....30 miles from home. The repair was done, at no cost to me....but wait !!! 30 miles times 2 is 60 miles plus a second trip to pick it up. In an F250 that 8 gallons of fuel, add the 4 hours of drive time , which is lost wages because Im not on a job making money and Ive now exceeded the cost of the unit. OH BUT IT GETS BETTER. Two months later the same thing goes wrong with it. This time I email Senco directly asking for another solution. They send me a form letter stating the warranty policies and to take it to an authorized service center I calmly reply saying that is not an option and would like a replacement unit since Ive at this point payed for the unit TWICE. Their reply was to send it to them and theyd fix it or replace it as necessary. I was thinking that was an OK option but then they said I would have to pay for shipping..... BOTH WAYS !!! So either way Id be paying for the unit agian ?!?!?!? WTF ???? Anyone who knows me says Im meticulous about the care and maintenance of my equipment. I have many Senco air nailers and they all get oiled before they come off the truck for every use. I dont abuse my tools...they are livelihood. As a professional I rely on my tools but I know things go wrong sometimes. The customer service department for Senco is sooooooo poor and the experiance Ive had is soooooo bad that I will never purchase another Senco product again. How can a company think that it is appropriate to force a consumer to pay out of pocket more than the cost of the product to use the warranty ? NEVER BY A SENCO PRODUCT
