> 3 dayGreat portable and light compressor for small jobs. I use it mostly with 15 and 18 gauge nailers, filling tires and with a blowgun for cleaning and it works fine. It is too small to run a cut off tool and I wouldn’t use it with a framing nailer either. For those complaining about quality, I have been using mine for 11 years now and it is still running strong!

> 3 dayIt is quiet. It only has one tank, so it doesnt run forever before shutting off. It has a real pressure switch, rather than the cheap electronic switches many of the other small compressors have. Yes, they are all electronic, but this has a real pressure switch just like the big boy compressors. And, the price is right. Way better value for the money compared to something like a blue hawk from lowes. Ive got both, and this is hands down a better unit, and a better buy!

> 3 dayThis compressor is good and quite silent, with a gallon it does not fill a vehicle wheel, you would have to wait for it to fill the tank to continue filling it, it is not of continuous use and it needs time to cool down or lower the temperature of the engine and pump, but it is very good and I recommend it for jobs with less effort, stapler painting miniatures etc.

> 3 dayI bought this for only two tasks: filling tires and blowing out dust from my computer. It works very well for both. My main problem is for tires as the tank depletes so quickly and takes a good bit to fill all the way up. However this is in no way a design or function problem of this air compressor, it is solely based on the tank size is small, which I knew when I bought it. Since I do not need to fill my tires up in 30 seconds or my car will explode, it is not the end of the world if I have to wait a few minutes for the tank to fill up. I can generally fill one tire with the tank at full and then have to wait for it to pressurize all the way back up before the next tire. Still, seeing as it works for what I wanted and has always worked when I use it, I am happy with my purchase and would probably repurchase or might opt for a minimum of a 2 gallon on the next purchase.

06-04-2025This compressor was purchased as a hobby usage compressor, it arrived in unscathed condition, opening and reviewing the direction booklet which was very concise and clear, I filed the serial number and proceeded to fire this puppy up. The compressor sets on rubber feet and on a tile floor with 15 foot ceilings it was exceptionally quiet, and filled the 1 gallon tank in a little less than the book stated of 144 seconds. As a test I let the pressure stand on the tank for 3 days no bleed down, the regulator works well and is fine tunable, to me it is very heavy duty in its build and actually a stronger looking unit than I had expected. When it fills the 125psi on the tank and only using 30 psi at the regulator for airbrushing it sets a while before needing to restart and fill the tank. I like it better than the pancake diaphragm unit it is replacing. Only down side was the quick connect is not marked as to the style a,b or c plug in so I had to remove it to get the proper plug in if it was stamped it would be better. I forgot to add the quick connect info, it is a IM style connect..02192015

Greater than one weekBorrowed one of these to power a 15ga finish nailer to install baseboard. Loved it and thought it would be a good thing to have in the shop for many uses. Did some research and decided to buy a California Air Tools 1P1060S compressor. While quieter and faster to fill, the Cal Air weighed 50% more (29 vs. 20 lbs), was bigger and harder to store on a garage shelf. Returned for the Senco and I’m very happy except the first one I received had a leak so Amazon replaced it. Only issue is with Amazon’s replacement policy. The original was shipped Prime 2-day but the replacement was shipped standard which took 7 days. The replacement didn’t ship until 3 days after I reported the original unit defective. Don’t understand why the replacement wouldn’t be shipped immediately via Prime since it wasn’t my fault that the original was defective. Very disappointed in Amazon’s replacement process. Should have just asked for a refund and re-ordered another. Replacement works great, is quiet and pressurizes to 135psi even though rated at 125. Tucks away nicely on garage shelf. I highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayYes, it is low volume. But, that is exactly what it is advertised to be. For what it is, the quality is very good. It is very quiet, which is good because I do not want to disturb my neighbors in the RV parks. I use it to air up my RV tires (QTY 4 - 80 psi), the airbag on my pinbox, the airbags on my truck and my truck tires (80 psi). This works very well for what I use it for. Since it only uses 4 amps it does not load my RV generator much and since it is lightweight it is great to have onboard my RV. Ive have tried the cheap 12 VDC compressors for this RV application and I wasted my money.

> 3 dayThis little gem is one of the best tools in the shop, my co-workers keep borrowing it. When we go out on a job, I grab it with the hose and gun attached and throw it on the seat beside me. We get to the job site and I walk upstairs and start shooting on trim before everyone else can gather their tools. Yeah, it takes awhile for it to get up to pressure and you cant bump nail a big gun with it, but who cares. If I need more air Ill borrow someone elses big heavy two horse job and let them carry the thing around. I shoot staples, 23ga., 18ga. and 15ga. and I use my blower if theres not too much to blow. The homeowners (and I) LOVE it because its so quiet. If it died today Id order another(from Amazon) tonight!

> 3 dayGreat for small jobs, trim work, and when you dont want to lug a big compressor around. Suitable for baseboard and casing installation too. The only weakness Ive found is that the check valve failed within two years. Its a $16 part so not a huge deal but I have other compressors that have been cranking for 10 years without any repair parts needed. Its so small and light. Love it despite the necessary repair.

> 3 dayHearing is believing. This compressor purrs. Using is believing. This is plenty of compressor for smaller, but not necessarily small, jobs. As a guy with lots of woodworking to do around the house, but no commercial framing or heavy construction needs, its perfect. Light, very quiet, easy to operate. Nicely finished. Well packaged. Delivered on time. A great value. To my bright yellow, miserably loud Campbell Hausfeld: thanks for the service, but youre headed for Craigslist, baby. Now, an editorial: Why in the world dont other toolmakers understand that very few of us, perhaps none of us, want loud, clumsy tools? Why do toolmakers think that were just a bunch of uncritical, drooling knuckle-draggers happy to bang on pots and pans and ecstatic to have actual electricity instead of water wheels to run our tools? Whens the last time you didnt wince at the noise of your table saw, compressor, shop vac, sander, router, or other power tool? When is the last time you held a power tool and had that same sense of amazement and gee-whiz appreciation that you get picking up a new smartphone or iPad? Or when you get behind the wheel of a decent new car? Most toolmakers seem stuck in the business model of US carmakers circa 1975 -- youll take what we make, and well make what were used to making, irrespective of quality, convenience, and overall value. If you want innovation, well spray on a new paint color and add a Landau top. Cmon, guys. Apple gets it. Blackberry gets it. Toyota gets it. Google gets it. Even US automakers finally get it. Where are the 21st century power tools? Why should it be such an amazing thing to find, finally, a quiet, well-built compressor? OK, off the soapbox and down to the basement....
