Smart Light Switch, WiFi Switch Touch Wall Switch 1 Gang, Compatible with Alexa Google Home

So far it’s working as planned and was easy to setup

The product works as advertised, able to link to Alexa and setup routine through Alexa. One minor draw back is that it does not connect through the app by discovery as recommended method (default). It has to be setup under AP mode. Note: Usually, dump switch doesnt need neutral wire, therefore, most of the time neutral wires are bundled inside the box. To use this smart switch, just need to add neutral wire connection to the bundled neutral wires inside the box.

After 6 months, one of the 2 switches just dropped off the radar. Tried repeatedly over a couple of days to reinstall onto WiFi with no success. The mate to it never had a problem in the same period. Contacted the e-mail support and got some advice but initially that did not solve the issue. After a couple of days, tried a fresh whole new install and it worked. Switch works well with Alexa to the extent that nothing works really well with Alexa. Mostly the problem on the Alexa side is Alexa also forgetting what WiFi it is using and name mis-recognition for the light switch.

These take up a lot more room in your electrical box inside the wall. If you can put a deeper one in that would be beneficial. And if your house is anything like mine get some electrical tape and an assortment of wire nuts.

Switches worked great! Connected instantly to WiFi. I do not have Alexa etc. so didnt try that functionality. As long as you know basic electrical work IE knowing load, line, neutral and ground, installation is easy and straight forward. Only reason did not give 5 starts as I was disappointed there was really no programming instructions provided. Tech support gets 5 stars as I queried about programming and they answered same day! Great Tech Support.

1. Im no electrician but a DIYer, I installed this with some difficulty due to the jumper wires too short. 2. App is great I have other appliances that uses this, however be careful for those in mesh, it can be a pain if this got disconnected like the other appliances that uses this app, it is sometimes hard to reconnect 3. Works great and responds fast. Will buy more.

The product is straight forward, links with smartlife quickly, and is stylish. The only thing of note is rather than a rocker style switch like some of the other brands this is only a touch plate sensor. Works just fine just not what was expected.

Basic electrical skills will allow you to install this with little to no effort. However, the back of the unit that goes in the wall is bulky, and makes wire management essential to get it to fit properly.

ok first, I love this 2 gang light switch. I just installed it on fathers day( gift to myself) BTW. They do exactly what I was hoping they would do. Nice touch panel switch, they have a click sound that lets u know u touched it. nice little blue indicator that stays on when u turn on the lights and turn off when lights are off. paring them with my google home mini was just what I wanted it for. no more getting out of bed walking all the way to the light switch or drawing straws with the wifey whos gonna get up and turn the light out before bed lol. Now we just say ok google , turn off bedroom lights and off they go. ill definitely by more for the other bedrooms. wifi indicator stays on to let u know its hooked to your homes wifi network. absolutely love it

This product works great and easily pairs with an Alexa device. There is a slight problem with the terminal lugs in that they dont fully tighten to secure the stranded wire pigtails and they can easily pull out of the connection. Not sure if this was something with my item (I did get a double switch so if this was the case, I would have expected one of them to be correct) or its a minor design flaw... anyway, be careful on the installation
