It was a little bit of a tight fight in the 3-gang box, but the SmartThings app recognized the installed switches right away. Alexa integration was good. So far - quite satisfied.

I bought the two pack because I have a double-gang box at the front door. One switch controls the outside flood lights and the other an electrical outlet that turns a lamp on and off. I wanted to install them myself, but when I opened the electrical box and saw the dozens of wires, I decided that this was beyond my expertise (if it had been at another location in the house, I would have been able to do it). The electrician had no trouble installing them. He commented on how good looking they are and the fact that its a touch sensitive switch with no moving parts. He connected both of them and we turned the electricity back on. They blinked just as the instructions said. I had previously installed and set up an account with Smart Life on my android phone. The switches were instantly recognized and I renamed them put in my routers password and finished the process. One reviewer complained that there were no instructions for Google Home or Alexa. This is NOT the fault of this manufacturer.... every smart Wi-Fi device that Ive purchased leaves that setup instructions to Google or Alexa. I opened my Google Home account, allowed Home Life app complete access and the entire installation was completed in less than 30 minutes! The lights work great - I can control them by voice through Google Home, on my andoid phone, and by Internet on my laptop. I set schedules for them to come on at dusk and off at midnight. I especially like the blue backlights. It gives them a high-tech look. When the switch is turned on, the blue gets brighter. I would highly recommend these switches for anyone wanting to create a smart home through Wi-Fi. Though I used an electrician to install them, more simple electrical boxes have quite a few less wires than mine and can be installed by the user as long as you are comfortable with electrical connections. I always say, when in doubt, always have a professional do it.

Product looks and functions great. After installing I had trouble getting it connected to my router. After several attempts I decided to try the connection process on my tablet and realized there was an update for the SmartLife app available and after updating I was able to get them connected pretty seamlessly. The update was not available on my phone so if anyone is having trouble, try setting up on a different device. Would give 5 stars if not for the difficulty setting up after the physical install.

They are great, the only issue was the network connectivity. It comes for 2Ghz when most of the internet in houses today are 5Ghz. Beyond that all good. Compatible with Alexa

Of all the light switches we have purchased and installed, this product is the only one that loses its connection at random, does not reconnect after a power outage, and can take 2-3 seconds to respond when it does decide to work. And to reconnect, you have to delete from Alexa, then the phone app, add back in the phone app, add back in Alexa. A waste of time. Can not recommend this, and wont be buying this brand again.

In the process of changing out my traditional light switches with smart switches i have purchased some other brands but this switch seemed of higher quality. instructions were clear and the installation was easy. Connects quickly to my network (I use the smart life app and google home) and looks great I would highly recommend, and will look purchase additional switches from this company

Excellent switch and ive been using it for over a month now. Response time is extremely quick with the app and google home and like another reviewer said if your smart enough to configure scenes and automation you can use more of these as dumb remote switches to control the main one much like a pico remote. I have a 100 year old home and this comes in handy since wiring 3way wire in each room is nearly impossible and many of the 15x20 rooms only have one light switch which becomes aggravating... Ive also configured these to control nightlights when you turn them on or off. Possibilities are endless. Wiring them are fairly easy and some reviews state they cant wrap the wire around the screw, this is the incorrect way to wire these. The screws are set screws and ive found them to be fairly strong and i do recommend if you have solid wire in your home it may help to use the same awg stranded wire jumpers and wirenuts to the existing wire to alleviate strain on the switch and if your wire is too short. You can get 14 or 12 awg stranded wire in various colors from any hardware store by the foot. In regards to metal faceplates i couldnt find good reviews to sugest against them and ive found in my setup they work great with metal faceplates with a plastic box and my ubiquiti uap ac pro ap; of course mileage may vary and everyones setup and home is differnet. I have yet to add the additional sheilding of a metal box which some of my boxes are that i havent converted yet.

I purchased these light switches as an affordable alternative to other name brands on the market that were 3 times the price! After receiving them, I called an electrician and had them installed by a reputable professional in my local area. I proceeded to navigate the the instructions to pair them with my wifi and after a couple of times, I had all the light switches paired and working great. Hopefully time will tell if they will last - I would say the only con of these lights is the housing itself is a little bigger than standard lights which is completely understandable, So if you will be installing multiple switches in a 2, 3, or 4 gang wall unit; you will have to space them accordingly in order for them to fit just right.

It doesnt has the conventional size of a typical switch, is more big. Its not an issue but I didnt know it before to buy. But you should.

After finally figuring out how to link the switches (light and ceiling fan) to WiFi, they work great. The instructions could definitely use some improvement. I tried for about an hour to get them to connect, before getting a long cable so I could actually bring my router into the room where I was installing the switches. That did the trick. The instructions do say that the switch(es) must be in close proximity to the router and phone, but they don’t say HOW close. After installation, the router can then be returned to its original location. Also, for light and ceiling fan, if the two neutral (white) wires are simply tied together in your switch box without being connected to your current switches, you must use two of the included wire pieces to tie into both neutral ports of the new switches. After a little initial frustration, I am satisfied. They were installed only yesterday, so hopefully they will continue to last and work properly.
