> 3 dayBought this for my kitchen -- over sink and main kitchen light. An electrician installed, and I said I would take care of the wifi part. This one was a different brand than Id previously purchased. After multiple tech support (Amazon) chats, multiple App downloads, I still couldnt get it to connect to my wifi. I gave up for a month. Retackled it today after reading another review which mentioned a different app. Downloaded that, reset the switch, and was finally able to get connected and get Alexa to turn my lights off and on. Interestingly enough -- when I connected to Alexa, both apps showed up (Smart Home and Turo). So, YAY. Electrician had no problems with install and now that its working, I love it -- the same as all my other Alexa controlled items :D.

> 3 dayInstalled in November 2019, died in March 2023. Not horrible, but I expect more life from a switch/relay. Good thing I ordered a 2-pack and only needed one. Well see how long the second one lasts. FWIW, the device worked great while it lasted. I should mentioned that I had it on a sunset/sunrise automatic trigger using IFTTT and Google Home, so I rarely physically touched the switch. It turned on and off at least once a day every day for almost 40 months before it stopped responding to touch and would no longer connect to the WiFi.

> 3 dayTo start off, the vendor I bought this through Lesim is very helpful and responsive. 5 stars for the vendor! The vendor sent some instructions along with my first purchase that were very helpful. The switch looks nice and works well with Alexa. You first must set it up with the Smart Life app, but once you link the app with your Amazon account it merges with Alexa seamlessly. When you install an additional switch it auto adds to Alexa. My issue is quality. I have installed 5 of these switches in my house so far and 1 failed out of the box and needed a replacement. (Amazon was very responsive and quick about replacing it.) When reading other reviews before I started buying these switches I found others had this failure rate issue as well, but the ones that worked (most of them) were liked. As with most electronics, these are made in China. That old adage regarding Chinese manufacturing quality not always being too high seems to hold up with this product. If you are expecting to do a larger installation project all at the same time, then you may want a spare or two on hand.

> 3 dayFirstly I have an Orbi Mesh WIFI system that’s intelligent so separate 2.4 ghz and 5ghz. I have over devices connected. They are mostly 2.4 ghz devices and function fine without ever having to reconfigure my network. Even installed GE 8 smart build today. I’m an engineer by trade so the electrical wiring was a breeze. Had to buy 1 foot or wire to extend. The switches powered up as expected. The instructions are horrible. The app UI seem decent. The problems are the devices. Can’t get them to connect whichever way possible (auto, AP mode, manual). The instructions say to rename my network to differentiate between 2.4 and 5 ghz. My Orbi is I intelligent and will know to pick up that signal. We shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to connect devices. I never had to with all my other devices. These switches are cheaply made. I read someone review that said he use his old phone to pair them. I should of took that notice as a red flag. Who still has an old phone that still uses 2.4 ghz bandwidth. Spent over 4 hours and nothing. Completed waste of time. Lesin is the brand. Will me returning these when the GE smart switch come in. Their app and pairing process is a breeze. Spend the extra money and stay away from this brand

> 3 dayIm fairly tech savvy, so setting up their app and then granting permissions in Google Home was pretty simple. It joined the network easily, tool the password the first time and the scheduling features are spot on. Did testing to make sure its not just flipping the binary (so a turn on command would turn it off if it was already on) and the ability to group the lights in Google Home and voice control mean it doesnt matter where the switch is in the house. Awesome for automating outside lights.
