Spool arrived broken / split - which will make it very difficult to use as this is a 500’ roll of wire.

Except for the fact that, having written that it had been repackaged, the vendor sent a jumble, loose with broken spool pieces in a baggy, instead of a wound spool, once I got it untangled and stored for efficient access, it has been the perfect wire for my purposes. The plastic coating is a nice finish and allows me to work with it without hurting my hands.

Its great. Exactly what youll need.

I work as a handyman. Lately I have been doing a lot of picture hanging. Maybe a 45 LB wire is overkill on tiny frames ( < 10 lbs) but the ease of use, and having it on a spool is a real time saver. But, whenever I use this product, I get flashbacks to my childhood, watching the Roadrunner cartoons, thinking about the Coyote and a spool of fuse wire for dynamite, that somehow always ended badly for the Coyote.

Im an artist and I hate those goofy packages of wire that have enough for one or two paintings. This is perfect. Easy to keep in my studio and when Im wiring a piece at the last minute (seems that is my M.O.) I dont need to scrounge through containers or take wire from another piece.

I use this product to wire picture frames - it works well and the plastic coating makes it easier to handle.

I originally bought this stuff to hang pictures - and it does a great job at that task. The plastic coated wire can be bent into twists and knots that stay put. Its plenty strong enough for most tasks. My wife asked me for something to tie wire fencing to posts and I gave her the remainder of my Supersoftstrand roll. Now she uses it for everything in her landscaping and gardening work and I cant get the roll back. So, I had to purchase an additional roll - for hanging pictures.

Highly recommend this over non-coated wire. I stuck with non-coated for forever because I thought that maybe this stuff wouldnt tighten as well, but it absolutely does. The best part is that when you cut it there arent a ton of loose wires to stab you in the fingers. Ill never go back. Its a revelation.

This is my third time to order and returned twice now because it is delivered with broken plastic reel that holds the wire, causing the wire to fall off the reel. Disappointed because I can’t get it delivered in one piece. But the wire product is great.

The wire can easily twisted without hurting the fingers. It feels strong enough for hanging all my canvases, of which the largest is 140 x 140cm. I would recommend this product.
