TurboTax Home & Business Federal + e-File + State 2010 - [Old Version]

Once again and excellent product as we have used Turbo Tax ever since it became available. The ease of transferring information from one year to the next alleviates having to type in the same info every year. All tax carryforward information, etc. expedites the process. For the beginner this is an excellent package in that it can step you through the process. If unsure about an item the Help section is very useful. And the E-filing feature is key. Our state tax refund was accepted by the state and directly deposited into the bank account in 9 days while the federal refund occurred in 6 days. Excellent product.

I have used TurboTax for several years now. This years software keeps suddenly interrupting the process with leagal jargon wordingsI have zero clue about how to answer correctly. This never happened in prior years that I have used this product. My trust in whether I am doing my taxes right has just gone WAY downhill with TurboTax, since now I have to answer so many questions that have weird technical questions with words I do not even understand. Even if I go to the Forms View, I cannot make out what I should be answering the questions like. Sad but true. :-(

I bought Turbo Tax to file past taxes this year. the program worked well, but I had a problem with retaining the save file. I had to do my taxes twice and both times after I saved the file, upon trying to re-access the saved file there was no information to be found. I believe this may have been caused by using dated software on a updated OS. Otherwise the product work as expected.

Once again, Turbotax has escorted me through the horribleterribleawful maze of filing Federal Income Tax. After ten years of experience with the software I feel it continues to improve and provide value. I have confidence that things are done correctly. Now, if it could prevent my harddrive from crashing, it would be the best ever.

During different tax season, Ive used several different tax programs, and turbo seems to be one I most frequently use. I use it because it is user friendly for both personal and businesses. i recommended to anyone.

Bought and installed Turbo Tax 2010 Home and Business. Have used turbo Tax for years without incident. Install said I have to also install Microsoft framework.net something. Turbo Tax installed. Asked me to complete a form for more information on me (i.e. Where did you buy...) Asked to update software, which I did. Then I closed the program. My computer was completely locked up. I could not even use Control,Atl, Delete to end programs and shut off. I had to manually turn off computer. Now computer wont even boot. Cant start in safe mode. Cant do anything. I get the Blue screen of death 3 hours of tech support was totally useless!!!! They twice escalated the call, was going to escalated again and they DROPPED THE CALL. Called back - and the new tech said they had no record of call, even through they took down all sorts of info. Had to start from scratch. This guy could not help and could not even escalate call. So now this program trashed my computer to unusable. Have NO help from them. Taking the computer to a shop to hopefully help out. ARRRGGGHHH. WATCH OUT!

We have been doing our taxes with Turbo Tax for years. It is simple and easy to use, and WAY less expensive than hiring someone to do your taxes. Besides, they use tax software to do your taxes so why not cut the middle man? The only thing you have to do is gather up your information and enter it into the program when prompted. At the end, you are even given an opportunity to plan for next years taxes. I highly recommend this program!

I have used Turbotax for the last 6-7 years and have always liked the product. This year, however, I dont believe Intuit / TurboTax did a very good job of debugging the software. It runs incredibly slow and tends to lock up for a few minutes (yes, minutes) when entering data into a data field. I have found a work-around in that after entering data, clicking on file or view (or any of the drop down menus) will force the information in the data field and allow to continue to the next section (irritating and ridiculous but at least it works...). There are also issues with some data fields not appearing and therefore, data cannot be entered (again, the workaround is going directly to the forms view and entering the data direct). Hopefully Intuit will push an update that will fix these problems soon!

I picked this up to do my taxes this year. It is a great product and it really lets you cover all of your bases to make sure you have done everything right. It includes a free efile for federal taxes and comes with free state software, however you have to pay 19.99 to efile your state taxes. I saved a lot of money too by buying it through amazon. I will be buying this again next year!

Ive been using Turbo Tax to do my yearly home and business income tax returns for several years now. Turbo Tax is easy to use and it helps you get the maximum return possible. I had different accountants for many years, and paid plenty of money for their services. As far as Im concerned, Turbo Tax makes accountants obsolete.
