TurboTax Home & Business Federal + e-File + State 2010 - [Old Version]

It was not as user friendly as the previous versions. Entering data was confusing, especially for contributions and donations. Data did not seem to flow freely from 2009 returns to 2010 files. I had a very difficult time updating. I had to reboot twice before it uploaded the program changes. All in all, I didnt like it because of all the time I wasted trying to make simple entries. They should go back to the way 2009 versions were designed.

I worked for IRS for 27 years.....and TurboTax (Intuit) is by far the best tax software on the market. The others are just trying to keep up. I always recommend TurboTax to my friends when they ask me tax questions. TT is the most reliable, accurate and easy to use of the home tax preparation software products.

I have used TurboTax for many years and find it the easiest and most user friendly. Ive tried some of the other leading tax software and for me, found it less intuitive to use, but I admit, that could be because of my familiarity with TurboTax. Either way, I am very pleased and will continue to use TurboTax for my 2011 taxes.

Its advertised as including one state free. But the state no longer works.

While I am a salaried rat, my wife is a consultant and uses a limited liability company as her legal entity for her work. So the Home & Business version of Turbo Tax is very helpful in not only handling a salaried employee but also in handling an independent contractor type such as my wife. It really helps with the categorization of business expenses for the LLC. Ive used this product for years and always feel very comfortable with it.

Ive been using Turbo Tax to do my yearly home and business income tax returns for several years now. Turbo Tax is easy to use and it helps you get the maximum return possible. I had different accountants for many years, and paid plenty of money for their services. As far as Im concerned, Turbo Tax makes accountants obsolete.

This is the seventh year we have used this program and it always works well for us.

Product is Great. I would give it a 5 if not for price. I started out with the product years ago when it was a low cost option. While it is not so inexpensive these days, it is still my choice.

Not only did I save money by doing my own taxes, I saved money by buying this software at Amazon.com. Walmart wanted $20 more than amazon. I just wish I had found this out years ago. I have always bought my tax software at a walmart store and paid too much. Turbotax is so easy to use. Just answer the questions, the same questions your tax professional asks. Its that easy.

At the end of 2006, after years of spending as much as $1200 for a CPA to file our extensive, multi-form taxes, I gave TurboTax a try... side by side with the CPAs results. Not only was I able to gain a much better understanding of my tax calculations, I saved having to pay his outlandish fees in the future. I have been using TurboTax ever since. I will use it, again, next year and the year after and the year after.
