V8 Battery Adapter for Dewalt 20V Lithium Battery Converted to Replace for Dyson V8 Battery, Works with Dyson V8 Series Animal Absolute Vacuum Cleaner(DW20V8 Adapter ONLY)

Worked for a while the first dat, then I would get about 5 seconds of power, then shutoff. Have to pull and re-insert battery, gets another 5 seconds, repeat.

This product was very simply to install. As far as working correctly no. This product only works in the normal speed for the vacuum. When I go to max it runs for two seconds and shuts off. I tried freshly fully charged dewalt battery and it continued to do the same thing. Would not recommend this product.

Works with Dewalt 2Ah Max and 1.7 Ah Powerstack but vacuum pulses on and off with 5Ah Powerstack. Disappointed that it can’t be used with a higher capacity battery.

I assume that there is a high voltage cutoff built in to the Dyson vacuum. I used a brand new Dewalt battery that was fully charged. I suspected that a fully charge battery was causing the vacuum to cycle on and off as part of its over-voltage circuitry so I ran the battery in a drill for 20 seconds and then tried again and voila! Super powerful and lasts for a long time.

Works intermittently. Same battery different battery clean filter dirty filter runs perfect one time then the next runs for 4-6 seconds and you have to wait 10 seconds for the vacuum to work again. Pass

This product installed easily enough. Screws were provided but they’re shorter than the original. No instruction provided on whether to use new or original. Battery life is great. Obviously that’s the point. You can what ever Dewalt20v battery you have. I was able to vacuum our entire downstairs on Max, about 1500 sq ft. Major bummer is it doesn’t fit the charging holder. Would be 5 stars if it did. Good price and worth it.

I was skeptical of the product, but after installing it, it fits perfectly. The new adapter holes lineup exactly with original Dyson holes so installation is easy I do recommend taking off all front components to get better access to the two bottom screws

Actually it saved my vacuum. Y’all will never catch me fighting and looking stupid with a vacuum cord again. But the battery life of my Dyson was throwing me into fits. In comes this gadget, and I can vacuum my whole house twice, and then some! Wish we’d bought it sooner.
