> 3 dayI was skeptical of the product, but after installing it, it fits perfectly. The new adapter holes lineup exactly with original Dyson holes so installation is easy I do recommend taking off all front components to get better access to the two bottom screws

> 3 dayThese adapters only work on the low power setting. I tried it on 2 different fully operational dyson v8 vacuums and neither worked so I figured I just got a defective one and switched out a replacement, but had the same result with the replacement, so these just dont work on max power.

> 3 dayMy Dyson battery was just about dead and would only run for long enough to clean two rooms. I saw this adapter on IG and loved the concept. Very easy to install. Now my 2ah DeWalt battery vacuums the house twice over before needing a charge. The only down side I can think of is that it doesnt fit onto my wall dock. With a battery in it, its too large. 9 stars out of 10.

Greater than one weekFully charged Dewalt Brand battery, it keeps turning off intermittently. Tried with 2 different batteries.

> 3 dayThis works well with 4 ah Dewalt batteries in my Dyson V8. My initial impression is around 25% more life than the original battery. This does NOT work on max setting with a smaller, 1.5 ah battery. If you use max settings and have the smaller Dewalt batteries then Id avoid this. Otherwise Im looking forward to having swappable batteries for my Dyson! Id give it 5 stars but the seller should indicate the need for larger batteries.

12-04-2025I bought this because the original battery would not last 10 minutes and I already had plenty of DeWalt batteries for my power tools. Installed easily and works but the handle gets really hot after about 15 minutes of use. I wear gloves to make it bearable but afraid the plastic may melt one day.
