V8 Battery Adapter for Dewalt 20V Lithium Battery Converted to Replace for Dyson V8 Battery, Works with Dyson V8 Series Animal Absolute Vacuum Cleaner(DW20V8 Adapter ONLY)

This product is great, using the Dewalt batteries is so much easier

I ideally wanted to use this with the maximum suction function but the light turns red after a few seconds. On the lower setting it works fine. Buy this if you dont mind the lower setting.

We have 2 Dewalt batteries that we cycle on the charger that worked with this adapter when we initially purchased and now after about a month it won’t run for more than one second. We’re past the return of replacement window now and feel stuck with a bad $30 purchase.

Installation was easy and I have 2 fully charged batteries, but the Dyson vac only runs 5 seconds and then I have to remove and replace the battery like it is being reset. Same result with both batteries. Restarts and runs another 5 seconds. Any suggestions?

Adapter works great can use vacuum much longer now

My wife and I both love this. A 20v battery lasts longer then it’s factory battery and if you’ve got a little more to do you just slap in another 20v battery and go. Hands down the best attachment I’ve seen for a vacuum.

My Dyson battery was just about dead and would only run for long enough to clean two rooms. I saw this adapter on IG and loved the concept. Very easy to install. Now my 2ah DeWalt battery vacuums the house twice over before needing a charge. The only down side I can think of is that it doesnt fit onto my wall dock. With a battery in it, its too large. 9 stars out of 10.

Works as described. Easy to install.

Not worth buying. Would not supply battery power to the vacuum. Great idea but look elsewhere.
