I wanted something that would work well with Google home. This does.

I have used these plugs with just the Vont Home app and also with Alexa. They are super easy to setup. I liked that I could set up a schedule in the Vont Home app to power something on/off at certain times and days of the week. I didnt have Alexa right away, but when I set up Alexa, with my granted permission, it integrated the Vont Home app and products without any hassles. I use voice commands to control one of the plugs and use a schedule to automatically control the other. I am extremely happy with this product and highly recommend these plugs.

Received my 2 spo1 plugs in one day. Packaging was super easy to open. Well designed!! All cardboard box could be opened without difficulty. Easy to break down for recycling. No broken nails or need to use scissors. I plugged them in , they went into connect mode, and I went to the Vont home skill app to set them up. and after enabling the vont home skill, connection was easy to my Alexa app. Amazon did not list vont as one of the available manufacturers, but selecting other worked fine. I love these plugs compared to others I have bought in the past. First, the size of the plug allows 2 to be connected to the same outlet. Not the case with others. Second, it was easy to change the name of each plug. Third, I did not have to fight to open the package and it was easy to prepare for recycling. I have purchased other Vont items in the past and was always satisfied with them. They offer a lifetime limited warranty on all of their products. Also the plugs connected easily to their app. The warranty card was easily found and registration on the website was quick. You get a nice welcoming email as well after registering. The online manual was easy to access. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a smart plug.

The app is not that great when it comes to setting up schedules. For instance, I have an air cleaner and wax candle warmer that I like to have start and stop multiple times during the day (in thr morn and at night). The vont app doesnt have the ability to have multiple starts and stops. I use another brand that uses the Smart Home app which allows multiple starts and stops during the day.

These work once they’re set up, but it took awhile to figure out how to get Alexa to recognize them. Annoying, but fine once they connect.

Packaging was small and instructions clear and easy. Setup and installation was a literal breeze and start to finish couldnt have been more then 10 mins. I have always wanted to make the leap and purchase some smart plugs and now I am left to wonder what took me so long! Price is perfect for two. Such a modern day convenience that everyone should try out.

Overall, this product looks great and works well. My only complaints have to do with the companion app and the Alexa interaction. The Vont App is clunky and should make it easier for something to run on a schedule. You can either do an on or off time and then a timer until the next shift. It could be more streamlined for sure. I do appreciate the setting to turn off the status light that not every plug I have interreacted with has as an option. Getting it connected with the Alexa app was a little tricky since I had to get the Vont skill to help it see the existing device, but that is really on the Alexa app.

Bought two of these when I really only needed one but it was so much fun setting it up I immediately used the other one. Easy integration with Alexa great product.

I love this product. Its super easy to use. Plug it in and turn it on. Download the app and link it. The app is easy to use and configure to auto turn on and off. I can go on vacation and set the timer without worrying the house would be too dark. Another great thing about this plug is the flexibility to use Google home or Alexa to control the plug. I have other vont products and I can validate their products are user friendly and easy to connect to their app. You will not be disappointed with this brand.
