I bought these to replace my older digital light timer and they look like they would work well. My problem is they only support 2.4GHZ band to run on. I returned the items.

I got this for a nightlight for my grandsons. It makes it so easy to remotely turn the light off so i dont have to worry about going into their room and waking them. Its easy to pair with the app and integrate with Alexa. Im considering buying the 2 pack for a couple other areas in my house. Packaging is clean, minimal and eco friendly. Would recommend.

Had a problem on installation. The app saw my 5 GHz home WiFi network and I tried to use it but it wouldnt connect you must use the 2.4 GHz network. Once I switched it worked fine.

I have used these plugs with just the Vont Home app and also with Alexa. They are super easy to setup. I liked that I could set up a schedule in the Vont Home app to power something on/off at certain times and days of the week. I didnt have Alexa right away, but when I set up Alexa, with my granted permission, it integrated the Vont Home app and products without any hassles. I use voice commands to control one of the plugs and use a schedule to automatically control the other. I am extremely happy with this product and highly recommend these plugs.

Integration with Alexa could be made clearer and simpler. Like the time on clock, there should be a time of clock. Keep it simple

Constantly drop off of Wi-Fi and you set-up every time. I’ve had them for 5 months and I had to set them up more than ten times. So if you’re ok with constantly setting up a Wi-Fi device this is for you.

I have two of these outlets controlling the lights on two different aquariums. They work great. I have had a few issues with them not turning on but the tech support is very quick to respond and get everything working as it should.

Overall the Alexa enable Vont plug is super easy, youll need to create a Vont account to link to the Alexa platform, then you can control on / off functionality, set timers, and specified on / off times for anything plugged into the smart plug.

I had one of these plugs that I was never able to get to connect to the wifi. They were kind enough to replace it but it took me many attempts to get that second one connected. I was not able to set a schedule so had to manually turn it off and on through the app. Then, I changed internet providers and have not been able to get it reconnected. I have other plugs from Kasa that Ive had no trouble with at all.

After a couple of days of messing around with it and uninstalling and reinstalling the app (plus many other steps) I was able to figure out kinda how it works. It shouldnt be this hard for someone who is actually not technically illiterate. I like the concept and was really hoping this was going to be a plug and play device with easy app maneuverability. I had my wife set-up the second one on her phone and she had the same problems I did. Just had to make sure it wasnt me.
