First of all, I was reimbursed for the purchase price of this product in return for my feedback to Vonts beta test program. That said, Im really pleased with these smart plugs. The packaging was nicely done and is completely recyclable. The basic instructions the switches came with were all that was needed to get them up and running (after you download the Vont app to your phone or tablet). Setup, including adding the switches to my Google Home Assistant, took fewer than five minutes for both plugs, and they worked right off the bat. Now, Im looking for other places to use more of them. Id wholeheartedly recommend this product for anyone looking for a smart plug, and I plan to purchase more soon.

They were very easy to install and I plan on buying more. They were very easy to connect to Alexa. I would 12/10 recommend.

So far I’ve only used it for turning lights on and off upon entering and leaving a room. Looking forward to using it to control holiday lights.

I found the product to be excessively complicated unnecessarily for the simple purpose it was designed for.

The plugs come in a minimal amount of packaging. I appreciate that the packaging is recyclable and minimal. The plugs are easy to install. I setup Vont Home in moments, and then adding the plugs, including discovery was super smooth. If youre putting this on a two plug wall outlet this will only take one plug. Thats nice. The one oddity was that scheduling the device to turn off everyday at a certain time, and then turn on at a certain time is not under schedule, but instead under rules. Not a big deal, I found it quickly and once I did it was really easy. Id expect a future version of the firmware to either change this or to include a note under the scheduling section. I have a few smart plugs and assuming this lasts well I would recommend getting this one.

I have two of these outlets controlling the lights on two different aquariums. They work great. I have had a few issues with them not turning on but the tech support is very quick to respond and get everything working as it should.

I bought this plug for its vacation mode. I wanted a lamp to randomly turn on and off to make it look like someone is home. This plug does randomly turn on and off when in vacation mode; however, the period is around an hour. Last month my house was burglarized. The burglar waited in his car in front of my house for 15 minutes, looking for activity, before breaking in. No burglar is going to wait outside a house an hour looking for activity. This vacation mode needs a period around 10 minutes to be useful. The Schedule mode only allows one on and one off time setting, so this doesnt meet my needs either. Update: after I posted this, Vont contacted me and told me they were going to add this feature to their product, but told me it may take a while. Gotta love that customer support, so I updated my rating 2 stars.

Simple easy packaging and bit of difficulty getting to work with my Alexa and Google Home. I own a couple of different brands of smart plugs and Vont is pretty good.. 4-Stars!!

First Ive tried for 2 days to get it set up. Thinking all I had to do was plug it and install the app. In Bluetooth i keep getting an error either app is needed to be used on device which i have installed it. Than i go to the app and it says device has been bound by others. I dont have no idea what that means. Well I decided to dig further in the little box and under the plugs i find 2 cards. And what do I find on one of the cards a FLIPPIN BUGGER!!! WHO DOES CRAP LIKE THIS? I mean I have many choice words I really want to use right now. Not being able to connect it and finding this I really wanna send it back. My kids dont even do crap like this. And no none of my kids got to the package b4 me. I opened the package it came with other stuff so it was boxed and inside another box. Im lost for words like really.
