I bought these to replace my older digital light timer and they look like they would work well. My problem is they only support 2.4GHZ band to run on. I returned the items.

I ordered and received a 2-pack of Volt smart plugs. Set the first one up with a bit of a learning curve but its all installed and accepting voice commands via Alexa. The 2nd one was dead. I contacted Vonts support line via web and got a response within an hour. They are sending a free replacement. So far, Im happy with the product and their customer support.

Really enjoying my new Vont Smart Plugs, which are an improvement over the first generation of smart plugs I have used. Those earlier smart plugs were bigger and took up both slots of a home electrical wall outlet. Worked fine but too big. These Vont smart plugs are small enough so that each takes up only a single slot. I’m thankful that they were so easy to set up with the app, almost automatic. And so totally effective and convenient, to tell Alexa my on/off commands. Easy, also, to move around the house as needed. One of my new plugs operates a tall floor lamp that I programmed to come on and off by a set schedule each day, and that works as intended. Gonna need more of these…

Life has become easier with these smart plugs! No need to get up to turn off the lights. No need to find the controller to turn off the fan. All possible with a simple voice command of Echo, turn off/on... right from where Im sitting. Thank you Vont for creating an easy to use and easy to install and does what it should do smart plug!

Simply unbox, plug in, open the app, and connect your plug. I love being able to turn the plug on and off from my phone (the plug is in an unreachable location). I can also turn the indicator light on or off so its not distracting in a dark bedroom. Very easy to install and even easier to use in my day to day.

Once the app was set up, we made several attempts to add new device. The set up took awhile and the rules to adjust the timer was confusing and fussy. We wanted the light to come on and off at a certain time. Once it finally connected, it works great! The light comes on at its specific time and off at its set time. The box contained 2 plugs. Now we can set up the other one:) I would purchase again.

YOU HAVE TO INSTALL VONTS APP AS WELL?? cant just put into Alexa, must have 2 apps for this to work :( annoying

Bought these so I could remotely activate my laser cutter, fans, lights, and water pump which is 200’ from my desktop. Walking back and forth to turn the laser on to send it a file was becoming a real hassle. These worked perfectly. Set up was a breeze, securing them to only my account and updating the firmware went flawlessly. Absolutely recommend.

I have some smart plugs from several different brands and some of them just sit in a drawer not used. Those plugs works sometimes, most of the time they dont. Some of the other smart plugs have had issues with my network router and were very slow to react. They are also several years old and were just not technically up to speed. I found these smart plugs from Vont and ordered them. First off, they are VERY easy to install and configure. Vont has one App for all of their smart devices. Just plug in the smart plug, go to the App, click on Add Device and it is found immediately. Select the smart plug and let it do its thing. Once it is done, the smart plug works. I named each plug and added them to my Amazon Alexa for voice control. Now I can plug in lamps, fans, plant lights or anything I want to control into the smart plug, and I can turn it on/off with a simple voice command. I even have one controlling a plant light that is on a scheduled daily on/off to keep my plants healthy without having to think about it. Setting up a schedule is also very easy and fast. This two pack of smart plugs is priced great making them a terrific value. The ease of installation and use make them a truly smart buy. I give them 5 stars and highly recommend them to anyone needing a really great smart plug.
