EXCELLENT product! I bought four (packs of 2) and then bought another couple. Cant say enough GREAT things about these plugs, my phone (Android) and Alexa found them with no problem. Easy to edit the name of the plug to whatever you want, so you can tell Alexa turn on the XXXX lamp, etc.

We live in a fairly wet climate during spring and winter and our sump pump has been running non-stop. Because our pump doesn’t allow for adjusting when it turn on, it was running non-stop as soon as a few inches of water filled the well, causing our back yard to be a swamp b/c it never had time to dry before more water pumped out. By adding this plug, we have a lot more control over when it pumps out the reservoir and we can give our yard a chance to dry up! Simple setup and easy use through the app.

Setting up with Alexa will not work directly…you need the Vont app. Set up should be able to be done direct. Why do I need yet another app just for plugs? When I already “supposedly” have one? Over all…not too bad though. The app does work when you get it set up. Be sure to check your router speeds! It must be compatible with 2.5gb you may need to call your provider and have them activate the 2.5 band. If you use extenders, the same applies…it must support the band.

Simply unbox, plug in, open the app, and connect your plug. I love being able to turn the plug on and off from my phone (the plug is in an unreachable location). I can also turn the indicator light on or off so its not distracting in a dark bedroom. Very easy to install and even easier to use in my day to day.

The plugs work as expected and are easy to setup and connect with Alexa.

I bought this plug for its vacation mode. I wanted a lamp to randomly turn on and off to make it look like someone is home. This plug does randomly turn on and off when in vacation mode; however, the period is around an hour. Last month my house was burglarized. The burglar waited in his car in front of my house for 15 minutes, looking for activity, before breaking in. No burglar is going to wait outside a house an hour looking for activity. This vacation mode needs a period around 10 minutes to be useful. The Schedule mode only allows one on and one off time setting, so this doesnt meet my needs either. Update: after I posted this, Vont contacted me and told me they were going to add this feature to their product, but told me it may take a while. Gotta love that customer support, so I updated my rating 2 stars.

I love this product. Its super easy to use. Plug it in and turn it on. Download the app and link it. The app is easy to use and configure to auto turn on and off. I can go on vacation and set the timer without worrying the house would be too dark. Another great thing about this plug is the flexibility to use Google home or Alexa to control the plug. I have other vont products and I can validate their products are user friendly and easy to connect to their app. You will not be disappointed with this brand.

After a couple of days of messing around with it and uninstalling and reinstalling the app (plus many other steps) I was able to figure out kinda how it works. It shouldnt be this hard for someone who is actually not technically illiterate. I like the concept and was really hoping this was going to be a plug and play device with easy app maneuverability. I had my wife set-up the second one on her phone and she had the same problems I did. Just had to make sure it wasnt me.

Received my 2 spo1 plugs in one day. Packaging was super easy to open. Well designed!! All cardboard box could be opened without difficulty. Easy to break down for recycling. No broken nails or need to use scissors. I plugged them in , they went into connect mode, and I went to the Vont home skill app to set them up. and after enabling the vont home skill, connection was easy to my Alexa app. Amazon did not list vont as one of the available manufacturers, but selecting other worked fine. I love these plugs compared to others I have bought in the past. First, the size of the plug allows 2 to be connected to the same outlet. Not the case with others. Second, it was easy to change the name of each plug. Third, I did not have to fight to open the package and it was easy to prepare for recycling. I have purchased other Vont items in the past and was always satisfied with them. They offer a lifetime limited warranty on all of their products. Also the plugs connected easily to their app. The warranty card was easily found and registration on the website was quick. You get a nice welcoming email as well after registering. The online manual was easy to access. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a smart plug.

I received these smart plugs and put them to use right away to control the yard lights and my dogs water filter bowl. The packaging on these was clean and easy to open. Inside the box was a scratcher for a possible prize. Using the app to setup was easy as it discovered them right away. I was also able to connect with Alexa and google home with no issues. So far all has been good and have not had any issues. I almost forget that they are there since I no longer have to manually turn things off/on. Vont has come a long way with quality products which I own quite a few now.
