I bought these to replace my older digital light timer and they look like they would work well. My problem is they only support 2.4GHZ band to run on. I returned the items.

These were much easier to set up than previous home plugs I’ve purchased! We have a covered porch with an outdoor lighted tree that I’ve used with the first one. So easy to have Alexa operate it for me. The second is my bedroom light. This is perfect. Just tell Alexa to turn it on and off! Making me lazy using these! All I need to do is use my voice! I’m planning on ordering more for other lights and a cabinet I want to light up without having to always plug it in! Great purchase !!

I own a whole lot of Vont products: Smart Scale, Smart wifi Strip lights, kitchen scale, solar outdoor lawn automatic lights, smart light bulb, bright led flash lights, rechargeable bicycle front and rear lights, and the super useful headlamps for any DIY task in the dark. All the Vont products I own are still going strong and they never disappoint. One time my strip lights won’t connect to the wifi, thus command via Alexa won’t work. Vont looked into it right away and sent me a replacement brand new strip lights even though they determined that the fault was on their server side. They fixed the issue minutes after and sent me another one to keep.

The plugs come in a minimal amount of packaging. I appreciate that the packaging is recyclable and minimal. The plugs are easy to install. I setup Vont Home in moments, and then adding the plugs, including discovery was super smooth. If youre putting this on a two plug wall outlet this will only take one plug. Thats nice. The one oddity was that scheduling the device to turn off everyday at a certain time, and then turn on at a certain time is not under schedule, but instead under rules. Not a big deal, I found it quickly and once I did it was really easy. Id expect a future version of the firmware to either change this or to include a note under the scheduling section. I have a few smart plugs and assuming this lasts well I would recommend getting this one.

Packaging was small and instructions clear and easy. Setup and installation was a literal breeze and start to finish couldnt have been more then 10 mins. I have always wanted to make the leap and purchase some smart plugs and now I am left to wonder what took me so long! Price is perfect for two. Such a modern day convenience that everyone should try out.

Once the app was set up, we made several attempts to add new device. The set up took awhile and the rules to adjust the timer was confusing and fussy. We wanted the light to come on and off at a certain time. Once it finally connected, it works great! The light comes on at its specific time and off at its set time. The box contained 2 plugs. Now we can set up the other one:) I would purchase again.

I received these smart plugs from Vont as a product tester and found them to work very well. I installed the Vont Home app on my Android phone, which easily discovered and added the two devices. I then linked the smart plugs to both Alexa and Google Home and found these apps to be a very simple way to control the switches. Here are what I found to be the smart plugs pros and cons... Pros: • Very simple and fast to discover and pair with Vont Home app and to integrate with Alexa & Google Home. • Two plugs fit nicely onto one standard outlet (see pic). • Blue LED indicator may be enabled/disabled in Vont Home app, which is nice for rooms where these LEDs could be distraction or cause of insomnia. • Solid, heavy feel. • Higher 15 amp max is great for higher draw items such as heaters (see pic) or dumb coffee makers -- I connected an old coffee maker to one of these plugs and made an Alexa skill where saying Alexa, make coffee! would start my coffee maker on demand, and Alexa, Im cold! would turn on my heater. • Very fair/low price in my opinion. Cons: • The Vont Home app still needs refining (which Vont is doing) to make it easier and more clear to use. While it was easy to discover & add the plugs, the apps shortcomings are mainly small things like the color difference between on and off switch is gray vs. slightly darker gray (see pic) instead of green vs. red, for example. Setting up timers with Vont Home is a bit clunky. With the simple Alexa or Google Home integration I honestly dont see any need to use the Vont Home app once the plugs are set up. I highly recommend these plugs, and thank Vont for giving me the opportunity to test them.

These are easy to install and I like that they come with an iPhone App to control in functions to truly operate as a smart plug. It helps me control my lamps and plan a schedule.

Nice smart plugs at a good value - easy to set up and they work well. Things I liked 1. Alexa integration - easy to talk to Alexa to turn lights on and off 2. app makes setup easy and control easy as well 3. vacation mode is great - allows to set up a schedule and control remotely

Christmas is here and it worked perfect for my tree... You can schedule it makes it perfect. Or control it from your phone .
